| Quote ="itsmeagain"Great signing. This is the way forward, Now one of the biggest disasters in LB history is going and there are only two left can we now re-sign Danny Ward and give him full reign to enhance the team with a few of his own signings and have Coleman as an understudy to Ward to help Colemans career and LB. Danny should have been talked into staying no matter what the cost. He should be full time and running individual training around the players work schedules and full team training at least twice a week same as the non league football. LB need a go forward approach and stability. Dont see any harm in apologising to long term fans the monkey and his followers banned and move the social side and fund raising to LBSA group and things may just settle and grow.'"

Maybe......but it would do no harm and go some way to stopping the rot

| I think we are for once all in agreement, that this is probably the best news we have had since the grim annoucement last year of going part time.
Its just nice for once to have something positive, and I for one am looking forward to seeing him back

I think that you will find NB that Super League would not be able to sign Johnathon Ford due to a lack of quota spots. Plus cap restrictions.
I do rate the man, I would love to see him at our club. He ran the Toulouse team. Would he come to London ? Would you? I would not, if I was as good as him.

Nope....i read it. Personally, I can't see a club that needs him in SL.....he can wish all he likes l, but wishing isn't getting.
Leigh would be my guess.

| Jarrod when at Leigh, was a full time player, however much of the squad were part time.

| Am saying that I doubt very much London has any full time contracts.
As for other clubs, several are all part time, several likely have a mix. My point is he ain't coming back from aus to play on a part time contract in championship

And I think you will find both OM & I are saying no reason we cannot have a few full time contracts to bolster the team & do some development work or help out in the offices. Just a question of if the money is right.

| The Broncos have signed Salford
Player Amir Bourouh on Loan initially for Two weeks possibly longer, He's plays as a hooker Aged 21 tipped as a good prospect unlucky to be third choice behind Addy & Ackers (Sounds like a Accountants) Was loaned out from Wigan to Halifax in 2021 Where he's from, And the Surnames Algerian.

| Dan Coates has gone back to Newcastle Thunder. One of the 'project' players I assume.

Doubt we will miss his kicking much. Is this another mummy's boy failure?

| Not quite what I was looking for under the new signings header but not a massive surprise. Suspect playing for Midlands Hurricanes is a better option than London reserves. I think he had something but we are not in a place to offer chances to too many ‘projects’ and,as you say, he misplaced his kicking boots.
IIRC he didn’t have a job lined up in London so possibly has found it difficult. If that’s the reason it’s a bit disappointing club wasn’t able to find him something in the massive London job market or he wasn’t able to find it himself but there we are.
No doubt this will be badged as a great opportunity for one of our U12s to step up. Sigh.

| I suspect he’s seen the club bring in Gahan and Burrough and Mockedreki taking over the kicking and thought he’s going to struggle to get game time so he may as well not go through the hassle of being away from friends and family. Possibly a lost opportunity all around but we do need to bring more in so inevitable some will need to go.

| I see Coates went straight into Newcastle’s starting 13 although, obviously, not their goal kicker. What’s all that about? I thought he played at Coventry last year so coming to us was a step up. He appears to have been a Newcastle player. Why leave a Full time Newcastle team to come to a PT London team which was likely to finish below Newcastle and no job in London to come to either. Surely Newcastle didn’t see something this season that changed their mind. Very strange. Still appears to have worked out for him.
