Devil's Advocate here, why shouldn't Fev be confident since all they are playing against is a team that has won 5 games against sides that are in the bottom 6 of our league and had one "good" loss against the league leaders from last year during a period in which they (Leigh) were in turmoil?

Maybe you should temper your expectations?

So playing devil's advocate here we are playing against a team that have played 5 of which 3 were against teams in the bottom 6 in our league and were pretty soundly beaten by the team they lost too.
All in all hopefully should make for a good contest tomorrow.

why will I be disappointed? I'm disappointed I can't make the game, but that's it.

This is a comp we can't win, we will lose money on unless we beat London this round, win in the next round and the get a good tie against one of the big boys. So I'm more than happy to lose against London, in fact I have stated elsewhere I'd like to get bet and concentrate on the league.

As far as I'm concerned this is a win/win situation, if we win it is a marker for the league game in 9 days and if we lose it gives us the opportunity to concentrate on the league.

What I find interesting is the belief in some of the Broncos fans that London are going to rip up the league after winning 5 of their opening 6 games. I think Henderson has been very astute with his signings this year, having picked up quality championship players rather than signing world beaters, which I think is the right thing for this league. However I think London are still well behind Leigh an Bradford as are the rest in this league. I believe there is very little between Batley/Fax/Dewsbury/Sheffield/London/Fev for 3rd and 4th places in the league, Batley are in the box seat having taken points of Leigh and Bradford.

I'm am happy for you if you think London are going to find it easy against Fev however I think that you might find the reality something different, I'll be back to see what you think tomorrow win or lose. Fevgrinder, mate trust me I don't think any of us really think we are going to rip up the league, I think a lot of us, OK a few of us, as there aren't actually a lot of us, but yep a few of us are hoping that we can have a decent season after the disappointment of last year.
We have not hit the straps yet, the team has a lot more in it, if we see it that's the challenge. As a full time outfit, in theory we should be ripping up the league, but we did get a lesson in Rugby when it was assumed because we were SL championship would be easy.
I am same mind as you though, not overly worried about the CC the league is where we need to concentrate our efforts but winning is habit so

We were well off SL standard when we were in that competition so anyone who thought we were going to suddenly go well in the championship was deluded.

Too many penalties.
Fev came out in the second half on fire, we let them get momentum and could not keep up with the pace.
Lost ball from kick off unforgivable, bloody good 40/20 from Fev kept us in our own half.
Oh well it's the CC don't think either team that concerned about it.
Proof will be in how we handle them on easter Monday hopefully with the rested players back in.

No but lots of the usual mistakes repeated again. Slow start to second half, failing to take the kick off after we've scored (almost normal now). Admittedly missed this one but too many common highlights by the sounds of it.
