| Shame but that's life. I'm not going to dwell too much on this. Looking to next season now. With all the upheaval we have had we have done well to still have a shot at the top 4. Keep the nucleus of this squad together, let Hendo bring in a few of his players and we will be in good shape for the top 4 assault next season. The younger lads a year older, wiser and bigger also.

Make you about right, if there was a part of the season to dwell on it would be those 3 home defeats in a row ( Dewsbury, Fev, Bradford).
There's been an overall improvement in the second half of the season, we should be able to win our remaining fixtures but we'll need a lot of results to go our way to make the top 4.
Still hoping while its mathematically possible though!

| Fax fans whining about distance to a home game. You've got to laugh. That appeared to be their only problem tonight though.
We were error strewn in attack and defence. Start of first half, we score, fail to take kick off and they score. Bizarre repeat at start of second half. Falling off tackles, too much one man rugby and really didn't make the most of a small ground. Pitch length was about 84 metres, why we didn't look for 40:20s I don't know.
Really weren't at the races first half. Improved considerably in second but 20 minutes of playing really isn't good enough. Did we not take this one seriously?
Interesting hole at the top end of pitch in front of posts. Why it's not filled in isn't clear?
Anyway only took 2 hours home afterwards. Six hours back to London tomorrow. Roll on next week.

| Looks like bye-bye to the top four, which given that we would appear not to have a ground for next season yet isn't a bad thing. Don't forget that promotion ISN'T automatic, but is dependent on clubs meeting 'certain conditions'. The cynic in me tends to read that as 'if you're not Bradford or Leigh, forget it!'.

| I have always had a like for Fax, but a lot of there fans were out of order, all the moans, team with no fans, moan, moan, moan, short memories folks, I was at the Shay loads of years ago for the game the buckets were out to pay the VAT man (or has that been forgotten in the new GLORY DAYS), it only took most of them 70 mins to be positive and give a song for a Mr Danny Jones, tho, still meet some very good Fax fans, remember, the few who did travel got home at 2am, tough being a London fan, tho, where was the rest of the Fax massive, on there game on the road, less than 15 miles from home ??????

Then Sheffield Eagles may as not well bother, as their new ground when built will be max of 5,000 I read.

| I must admit, I am really happy with the way the club is taking shape. Some very good young home grown players. a good coach, the makings of a team ready to push for the top 4, LBSA doing some good work. We are starting to feel like a club again. BUT, the ground situation does worry me. If we end up somewhere like Ealing it would be very bad. We need to look long term (super league). whether we make it or not that is what we need to aspire to. We need to be looking at a better/more permanent grounds.

Good for you beg hasp with a team shaping up to maybe challenge for a place in the top 4 of a division that we are only one of 3 full time squads......I on the other hand will lament the state of the club I have followed for 13+ years and who are nothing at all like "a club", but more like a clique.
5th at best this year, behind 2 part time squads and as you correctly point out, homeless for 2016 as it stands.
In true Facebook mode....
This time 10 years ago we were heading for 6th and a play-off game and had an average of 4k
This time 5 years ago we were heading for 7th and had an average of 3,300
This time 2 years ago we were looking at a Challenge Cup semi-final and we had 2,500 fans
Forgive me for not getting too excited about 5th in the 2nd tier with 650 fans and nowhere to call home

| Got to agree about some of their fans. Moan, Moan, Moan. Felt sorry for them having to travel thirteen miles to the game.
It was good for them to get for a change.
No sympathy here.

| Er don't know who you were listening to but most Fax fans were okay about going to Keighley although it was our 6th game on the road! Our biggest gripe was it was at Saturday teatime not Sunday afternoon, we have never turned out for a Saturday teatime game that's why the crowd was not as big as it would have been if it had been on the Sunday.
Well done to the 18 that I counted London fans for making it, must have seemed a long journey home after such a beating, we were well up for it and deserved to win against a full time team as well!

Plenty of keighley fans there plus the Broncos so am guessing only 3/400 Halifax could be bothered? Shadow of the 80s Halifax which is a shame. Is it fair to say the likes of your Aussies and former SL players have a real job outside rugby?
