I am an ex season ticket holder and have been emailed the Broncos news letters but I have not been contacted directly about renewing my season ticket which I am not to concerned about if the admin staff wanted to push seasons tickets they could do it through the news letter. My main concern is the cost of a season ticket this year my wife and I were concessions at the Stoop but we do not have this privilege at the Hive. We have complained about the change in the age of concessions but have got no where. Due to Barnet wanting to make more money out of the old season ticket holders by charging more for season tickets I very much doubt if I will go to any matches this year.

I agree the costs are too high and the membership represents poor value. When the prices were announced for the membership I was very disappointed that they had decided to match the Barnet price structure and not offer a reasonable joint membership.

I have every sympathy with those that have decided not to go due to the price although when compared to what is charged at other Super League clubs it is par for the course.

Sadly, what is happening on the pitch is not par for the course!

Harlequins RFC ticket office has a database of every customer for the last 5 years who bought on-line
SOTIC has an email database
London Broncos/Harlequins RLFC have data on season ticket holders.

LAZINESS is the only thing they are guilty of.

Unless you give permission for another company to use the information you provide then I would expect the Harlequins DB to be protected by data protection.

Do you know where the Broncos/Harlequins RLFC is to ask for the data because as far as I know the whole setup has been dismantled.

Harlequins R U was a different company who held all of the ticking information of any person buying season or match tickets for Broncos games, so I do not think data protection is a reason for Barnet not being able to use this information. I have never been asked if another company can use my information when ticke4s have been purchased.

From a data protection point of view that makes no sense. You think different companies can just share your data without permission from a data protection officer or you?

The question is normally in the smallprint and is often deceptively worded but I have often had to uncheck a box to say I don't want my info shared or check a box to say I agree to info being shared with third parties.

Given the club made this data freely available on the internet I doubt that data protection was high on their list of priorities.

There is simply no excuse for a club with chronic attendance issues not following up individually with lapsed season ticket holders.

I'd suggest that nearly all ex ST holders will have consented to receiving data concerning London Broncos. I'm not convinced this holds water unless they want to mail shot us re Barnet / The Hive as well. At that point I'd suggest they would have a problem.

As for the suggestion they don't have my details, well they had them splashed all over the net recently. I believe Gutterfax now has them if they ask nicely......

Their failure to to reply to an e-mail asking where an Academy game was being held, to save me a wasted 80 min round walk, suggests to me the main reason for inaction is that they don't give a stuff about the fans.

It's a long tradition at this club and goes a long way to explaining why so many have now walked away.

I've asked them. We will see what the response is.

Given the size of the fanbase they could probably have sent Gus round to everyone's house to beg for forgiveness.

Correct....that's why we'd only ask for the data of people who bought OUR tickets..


1. The ticket purchasing information must be kept by law for a number of years as part of the normal business record of a "retailer'.
2. There was a copy of the ST data available freely on-line until I sent the ex-CEO a text highlighting the error. I have no doubt that I am not the only one with a cop


3. SOTIC are still delivering the emails for the club......so there's a "contact" database.

Marketing is pointless now anyway. From what I can gather now, Hughes simply writes cheques for this year and that's it. Wood and Solly are "assisting" in the running of the administration of the club, AK is looking after HR/Marketing etc and as the season progresses and crowds get smaller, the decision will be made to slip AK another wedge (maybe some of the parachute payment) so he let's us play 2015 at the Hive before we will once again be condemned to roam the capital looking for another well meaning team to let us use their pitch.

The only glimmer of anything positive is that Paddock Punter will be back to cheer the team on
