Crumbs that's going back a bit - Went to Charlton a few times I'll have you know - just wasn't much of a rugby man in those days - was still more of a soccer guy( plus was a season ticket holder at the Knights at the time who had 40 odd home games in the Isle of Dogs so no prob with cross-london treks - hell even started going to London Blitz who play on the wrong side of London.)

Well, if you went a few times you'll remember how crap it was watching us play in a big empty stadium (and yet some twits would have us playing there again!).

I would rather the team fold than being reliant on people like the OP. Me and others are allowed opinions like this as we stuck our hands in our pockets and supported rugby league when times weren't the best. And I had a brilliant time, even if we lost heavily I would have a great time watching professional rugby league in the South while these people were sat at home doing nothing. Screw them.

He's put his hands in his pockets for some time too, if you read his posts. Who are you to tell him how to think or behave? I had enough of this more-passionate-than-thou behaviour watching football.

Everyone has these thoughts from time to time, unless you support Man Utd or some other w*nky club. In whatever sport. That's the nature of supporting a small, never-won-anything, and never-going-to-win-anything club. But those thoughts pass and you carry on.

What we don't need is one or two self-apponted loudmouths deciding who is and isn't a 'proper' fan.

I'm studying to be a counsellor. No matter how much someone tells or suggest something to you. You and only you will make the final decision.

I'd personally prefer it if more people followed and went to games and helped the club thrive.

I find it hard to understand people whose faith crumbles! it has been a rough journey since that first match at Fulham, but I would not swap it for any other club in Super League, same with West Ham!!

im a hull kr fan and started watching my team in the early eighties when we won everything then slowly got worse and worse until i was watching my team in the 3rd division as it was then but i never once thought about giving up supporting my club so i can understand listers contempt for the fan who started this thread
