Why not?
He has said himself, he does not know the answers. What sort of a pathetic coach comes out with that sort of comment? People on here crow about how he is doing the best he can with what he has available - he's obviously not doing the best he can if he doesn't know how to solve the current situation. His excuses really rile me and he takes no responsbilty on his shoulders whatsoever.

| Quote The Chronicler of Chiswic="The Chronicler of Chiswic"The problem for clubs in our position is, as Robbie Paul pointed out on the Super League Show a couple of weeks ago, lack of strength in depth and without more money it's difficult to see what can be done about this. Lack of cash is hardly BM's fault!
Oh God, I'll set GF off again, sorry everyone.'"
Is this really the case though? I can't remember the exact quote but wasn't there something earlier this season that refered to sponsorship not affecting the amount of money available for wages?

| Quote gutterfax="gutterfax"...as much as some on here and elsewhere think I spout b0ll0x, it does go to show that there's a connection between on and off field performance with crowds directly influencing the quality of player we can afford (and attract). Enough has been said (mostly by me) on this subject, so I'll leave it .........for now!'"
As a newcomer to this forum, I don't know what you've said before. However, your comment that "there's a connection between on and off field performance with crowds directly influencing the quality of player we can afford (and attract)" makes sense to me.
Given that Harlequins Rugby Union can fill the Stoop throughout their season and we're addressing a huge market across one of the largest conurbations in the world, it seems to me that getting more spectators would deliver huge benefits to the club in all sorts of ways – added turnstile receipts and product sales, increased sponsorship opportunities, increasing attractiveness to players, etc, etc.
Or am I missing something here?

| I don't think he should, and i also don't see him doing it anyway. But nevermind walking didn't DH say that top 8 was minimum? Could he be pushed!? And 1 question to Lister etc, who would you like to replace him with if he does walk?
BTW, we will make playoffs IMO so this is irrelevent!

Don't get downhearted, bit of a way to go. Oh, and am I the only one to like the look of Wakey - Cas, preferably refereed by Steve Ganson, with Ben Thaler as video ref

| Quote BroncOnIon="BroncOnIon"Needs analysis though doesn't it?
For example, suppose almost the entire first squad are out injured for the rest of the season. McD's fault? Don't think so.
Six clubs won't make the [ridiculously extended play-off spots, so should all six coaches walk?'"
Well, I beleieve that positions may become available in Hull and Bradford at the end of the season. Whereas, we only had a stated aim (in reality) of making the end of season jamboree, but those two clubs had much loftier expectations.
Mac has done what he can with the resourses on offer. Wigan was a game we should have won, as was Catalans at home and both losses were down to player error IMO. Had we won those, this thread wouldn't exist except in Listyland maybe and we would be talking about a bolted on Home Playoff game. Simple things like a wayward pass against Wigan can shape an end of season debate it would seem, so let's wait until the end of the season.
