well they do not appear to have worked over the weekend on a communication plan

I have to say, I would have had a bundle of stuff in place to be run over the weekend.....2014 shirt colours and design, season tickets, forum date, squad updates.....the last official update on FB was the HKR match report....the club site is not a lot better.

I heard that they were going to do the forum, but the plug was pulled because they saw this forum and the comments from people like GF made them say. Why put ourselves in front of that, when we have nothing to tell them.

Yep...because a poster 12,000 miles away is such an influence on the way a club is run

If that's true then it sums up the BS attitude the club has to the fans. Utter joke of an organisation that is showing no sign of having learned a damn thing in this whole debacle.

I doubt it. Frankly the relationship between a fair chunk of the few remaining fans and the club, particularly Gus, is so toxic I wouldn't call a forum in their shoes. (That's not knocking any fans, I'm in that group.)

Truth be told I'm a believer in actions not words. Unfortunately we aren't seeing much in the way of actions to inspire confidence either.

Whether the club would like to call a forum or not they should realise that existing fans are the most likely route to increased attendances. While some on here are critical of the club at present these are the exact same people who are the first to drag new people along to games. Of course, over the past couple of seasons there has been little to inspire us to do this and the break down of any communication with fans would now be very difficult to repair by the current management. If the club had brought fans along with them on the journey things could have been different but it seems the management weren't up to facing any criticism from those who care most about the club. This is the sort of attitude that will ultimately kill the club.

I won't be going anywhere near the Broncos whilst Gus is involved. Like the OP says, the announcement should have been the trigger to a set of prepared activities. As it is, the corpse of the Broncos has just been embalmed and made up to lie in state for a final season - this is not even the final twitch.

This is the worst outcome for me - the same clowns dragging out the final act until there are fewer than 100 interested speccies left come the end of 2014.
