Down here in Dorset it was (allegedly) -7c last night. Very cold at any rate. Point is, it's now about 15.20, the suns been shining all day, and, while lawns etc aren't bad where the suns reached them, it's still rock-hard with a frosty covering where it hasn't. As someone posted earlier, it really wouldn't be funny playing rugby (or even football) on that. Fingers crossed for a solar flare...

A word of warning on the snow, the first of it will be coming across from 1400hr's and it will be falling until about 0700hr's Sunday depositing approx. 100mm generally, and 150mm locally, so it may be an interesting journey home for some (I cover from the M25 southwards for gritting and will be going to work straight from the game)
