After having the pleasure of seeing the performances by Melling and Sharp on Friday I'm perplexed as to exactly who he will be walking into the team in front of.
As for Danny Williams — I agree, a great player for us.

| He is quite clearly in no fit state to play professional rugby league.
So no.

| No no no no no....
We are building a good back three with what we currently have. Wells is a revelation at FB, Willy and melling do a job on the wings. We also have 3 quality centres with 1F, Howell and Clubby....the last thing we need is another back 5 player.

| I would bid for Reardon. He'll be a good few hours away from trouble (Mr L Pryce) and will be away from his "wife" so that is a positive but for club PR it's not a great idea but when fit I'm a Reardon fan.

We've got burned on unfit players before.
So no.

He is not fit. He is not a marquee name. He's not even that good.
No way do we make another mistake on a player who will not have the "team" ethos that Big Mac has instilled in the team.
Let him rot (or even worse, go to a championship side and earn 10% of his previous wage)...
As for being away from his ex-wife......I suggest you split from your partner of a few years before commenting on how he would react from 200 miles away as against 20 miles away.
He would be a big mistake IMO.

| I know he isn't but IF he was fit I would take a gamble on him, there is little back-up for the backs at QRL so he'd be worth a punt.
But he is unfit so I would steer clear

BF....as a club we rarely take a punt on players who are (to put it mildly) carrying baggage. Danny Williams was an exception to the rule, but let's face it, he lost it on the field and it was his only "issue".
Reardon has a number of things going on and I would suspect that Big Mac wouldn't touch him with Brian Nobles barge pole.
As for cover in the backs.....we have loads in the back 5.
Wells, Melling, Sharp, Gardner, Clubb, Howell, Gafa and if need be O'Callaghan and Big Mick Nanyn , so we wouldn't need a prima-donner with a "don't you know who I am attitude" in that group.
As a Club, we have an aim to field more home grown players than the "traditional" clubs and I would rather stick with our current back 5 than pay that idiot 1 penny.

We have Melling....a GB full back, but this year, played on the wing when wells has been fit.
Wells, a wing, who has been brilliant this year at FB.
Sharp, great prospect on the wing.
Gardner....by no means the complete winger, but getting there
Clubb...centre, wing or even loose forward if he puts his mind to it.
Gafa....class centre
Howell, class centre
O'callaghan, work in progress, but without doubt, one of outstanding prospects we have.
Nanyn.....he can kick goals and play centre if need be.
We do not need cover in positions 1-5....6&7 we need orr to stay fit and 8,9,10, 11,12,13 have talent throughout.
FFS....we start with LMS on the bench in most games and he is an England international.
If we have cash available, Reardon isn't where it should go.
By the way....stop getting me involved in non-marketing threads....people will think I am starting to understand the game after 7 years

I thought it was good? thinking on the part of Hull, when they are supporting a "Stop Abuse Campaign" - annoyed that Saints think Pryce deserves no further punishment, does club and team success come before justice? - next they will be asking for his 100 hours community service to be a Knowsley Road??
Wonder if the RFL and Super League will stand up and be counted, now the ball is back in their court?
