The championship comp seems pretty skewed with a couple of teams dominating, at least with the 12 and 12 us and Bradfurt will provide some decent competition. I think what will be a leveller will be the early part of the season if some of the pitches are not the usual SL standard slogging it out in a mud fest equals things out a bit. Thats not a dig at any of the championship teams just an observation.
The squad we have got looks pretty decent, but getting through the season the way Leigh did I think is highly unlikely for any team.

Theres no doubt it will be close between Bradford London and Leigh and then one from the also rans will become the whipping boys in the middle eight Featherstone and Halifax would have been in with a shout but money troubles have put an end to that

The critical game is at the LSV on 1st. March, a win there could seal us a top two place even that early in the season. If the Crusaders are drawn away in the first round of the Championship 1 cup I might potter up to watch it!

Agree it should make a real difference with these three clubs being the only to be full time!

Hmmm...not sure about seeing to Fev with ease...it took you 52 minutes to score, and it was 8-8 with 15 minutes left, Dixon and Dorn were the difference between the two sides that day. Maybe full-time fitness too, but I felt on our home ground we might have turned you over that day.

Mind, we weren't as good this year as in 2013, but I think there might be some surprises this year for anyone who thinks simply being full time means you'll consistently wipe the floor with the part-time teams.

I fully expect London Broncos to defeat 9 of the Championship sides in at least 17 of the 18 meetings next year. The 4 games featuring Bradford or Leigh are the one where I expect us to win a minimum of 3 if we want to win the league.
This isn't arrogance BTW,. It is purely about London's team being full time and having access to top tier facilities.

I will be more than happy to eat my words should we struggle in 2015, but the reality is, if we want to stand a chance of getting to and then winning the million quid game, we need to be defeating part-timers week in week out.

Jacob Miller has just been sacked by Hull FC. Could he be hired for 2 - 3 months until Barthau is back, and should he be?

Why ?

Broncos were full time in 2014, but they got mullered on an almost weekly basis and from what I saw of both teams I would have strongly fancied part-time Leigh to beat full-time London; there just didn't seem to be as much quality in the London team as in the Leigh line-up. I think London's success this season will stand or fall on how well the club has recruited and how well the players gel; it might be that the quality of players you have recruited for next season is much better than this season's squad, and if it is I'm sure you'll do well, but simply putting your faith in the fact that the players will be full-time might be a mistake.

Gutters is right, they should have the professional attitude and we as supporters should expect to win against them, I don't want to be disrespectful to them but I've never known this club to have a ruthless streak or attitude, with the good progress we are having as a club we shouldn't then sit back and relax now, we have to get a good draw in the middle 8s to stand a chance of going up.
Even though the salary cap difference means we probably won't go up. Like I say no disrespect to the semi pro clubs but I want the pressure and expectation to be on broncos to perform every week

The club need to instill a winning....nay...a ruthless mentality into the players. Failure is not an option. If we don't qualify for the million pound game, then I at least want to know that the players left everything on the park.
And when they are winning, I want them to not stop until the 80 is up....points difference could well play a major part in the middle 8 shake-up.

Its going to be all about the start. the first 3/4 games - if we go well and get solid wins confidence will grow and we can get onto a roll. The fact that we have so few players who have been through the last couple of awfull years is probably a bonus new players without the baggage!
