| I thought this was a thread about saving the broncos rather than a myopic view about the merits of the success or not of the RLWC and whether tubbs or crockett was the real reason for its success or not.
But then again I'm only a southern shandy drinking Broncos fan who fingers and toes are crossed that something can be salvaged from the carnage of a failed rebranding, years of neglect and continued mismanagement of the club I support and not a self absorbed fan looking to antagonise anyone who does not share my point of view or kiss my , whom has more time on my hands than may be good for me.
Keep the faith.

| the problem London will now have is the RFL wont be much help to them as they can't manage more than one project at a time (Big Nige said the league had no sponsor as they were micro managing the Bradford farce last year, look how well they managed that)
Bradford are yet again up shiite creek and Nige has eaten the paddle......so all the RFL's efforts will be on saving the Bulls as they are their own tennants at the Iconic stadium, how bad would it look to everybody if the RFL were left with a white elephant gathering dust and tumbleweeds.....

I have huge sympathy with this view. i have always welcomed both gutterfax and jaybs views/inputs, but too many of these posts have become about the posters - not the subject.
I still hope we survive, i dont care if we play with 13 aussies and 4 londoners on the bench next year, finish 3rd from the bottom, if that means we survive long term?

| Interesting concept from bullinenemyland in the Bradford forum about their Fans forum meeting last night:
- New owners said that the reason that ST holders were only invited tonight was that they were a stakeholder in the club having invested and they felt that along with sponsors deserved to know that they were doing everything in their power to turn club around.

Fortunately as no season tickets have been offered this year Gus doesn't need to worry about this!

| Interesting quote from The CEO of the RFL today in the Yorkshire Post;
"RFL chief executive Nigel Wood insists he is “at peace” with himself with how he has handled Super League’s civil war"
I'm pleased he feels this way,the article did go on;
” added Wood, confident troubled London Broncos will also avoid administration to start next season"
Well all our worries have gone!

| Question to everyone on the forum, if London are saved which colours would you like to see London ware the current blue/black/silver or the traditional blue, red, yellow. I personally like the club got back to its original colours. Plus I hate the current logo, I prefer the old Broncos logo... All it needs is a little update of the horses head.

I would have though what colours we play in was the last priority at the moment! but we are London and the new shirts will not be on sale until...........................

16679.jpg Well f**k my hat, I didn't know that!
Come all without, come all within, we're London Broncos not the H********s!:16679.jpg |

| To be honest I've got quite used to the new colour scheme ( and saw the all black kit as an antidote to the seasons in multi pastels) but I would love it (if we survive) if the club used the kit from last season's cup games as the 2014 kit - reckon IF they got the shirts on sale they would sell out in no time!

| It may seem bleak to us currently,and we have felt this way for a while. but I do things will become clearer soon & hopefully be good news. It does not seem just 12 months since Sallford loyal fans suffered the same way. Interesting how The Manchester Evening News see's it today.
[i"What a difference a year has made for Salford Red Devils
By Neil BarkerPlayers and investors put both the boot and the knife in by demanding money they claimed they were owed. Wilkinson and his associates were in a hole, and there was no way out. He had been a fine ambassador not only for Salford but for rugby league, yet Reds’ troubles and problems were plentiful at the end. It all proved too much.
Wilkinson suffered a crushing body blow when a cash bail-out plan by the local council never materialised. In stepped the Rugby Football League.
Even they had their reservations about Salford being strong enough to start the 2013 Super League season. RFL chief executive Nigel Wood had already saved Bradford and knew he needed to bring someone of substance to the table to rescue the Reds. Wood’s wise man was, of course, North West racehorse owner Marwan Koukash. ‘Marwan who?’ asked many success-starved fans. Koukash’s flamboyant style was in stark contrast to the guarded, parochial and somewhat pedantic manner of his ageing predecessor.
Nevertheless, Wilkinson wished Koukash well. The new owner quickly won over the fans and this time last week, Aussie superstars Billy Slater and Greg Inglis made it their business to meet in person the man who has already had a huge impact on rugby league. Koukash made his intentions for Salford clear to the Aussie public when he was Down Under for the Melbourne Cup. Koukash has overseen a remarkable transformation of the Reds in the twelve months since coming on board and boldly vowing to make Salford one of the biggest clubs in the world.
Wigan, Leeds and Warrington all sense he means business on and off the field and are looking over their shoulders. Koukash has certainly put his money where his mouth is. Christmas came early for many Salford fans this year. Fans who remember Salford’s heady days of the 1970s have quickly likened Koukash to Brian Snape a fellow visionary who also went out and signed the very best.
Twelve months on, fantasy is now reality as owner Koukash embarks on a mission to make Salford great. Those close to Koukash say he is a man who always gets what he wants. His early impact on Salford and Super League has certainly been huge. Up to now, Marwan Koukash appears to have ticked all the right boxes. He knows Salford need to deliver on the field. With a strong squad assembled, most of Koukash’s time is currently taken up touring Salford inviting more people to feel part of the club.
Right now, Koukash is the one hoping his own prayers are answered with the building of Salford’s fan base paramount to his long-term plans"[/i
Quite a few parts of the story, seem similar to ours, wonder if our story will end the same?
