Still feel the best solution, is not to feed animals, we may then get The LONDON BRONCOS forum back.

| Does anybody know if parking will be available, as getting the train from where we live (Staines) will be a pain, as on wrong trainline to get to Ealing...
Not too bothered if we have to pay, more that we don't have to park in surrounding streets
Cheers

Given a choice between GF ranting about attendances or you with your head firmly rammed up the owner’s backside I choose the man with many aliases every time.

A friend who lives near by agrees with their website statement that there is plenty of onsite parking. Looks like Trailfinders RU charge a fiver to park on match day.

or those on the payroll
All "Dave" wants to hear is that we have a team and we think they'll do well next year.
The Business plan that has been submitted to him lays out the plans to have us back in SL inside 3 years and operating close to self sufficiency. If he believes that I may well come back and grab some of that 'easy money" he throws about whilst taking peoples word as some sort of cast iron business plan
He has a track record of making terrible decisions and no matter if he throws another 18 million at us over the next 3 years, I have a better chance of getting Petone Panthers (Wellington RL 2015 season P: 14 L: 14 PA: 812 PF: 155) into SL.
For the record: For London Broncos to exist as a viable self sufficient RL side in Superleague, we need to attract either another wealthy benefactor willing to spend 2 million a year+ or 10,000 fans to games. We are moving to a stadium(sic) with 970 seats and not a snowballs chance in hell of developing a new stand inside 3 years, one of our "major" signings for 2016 is an outside back who is one injury away from retirement, a rumoured signing is a prop from relegated Doncaster and next year we will face stiffer competition from a rebuilding Bradford, a full time Sheffield and one of Leigh, Wakefield or Salford, not to mention the 4 SL sides with a larger cap should we make the middle 8.
The concept that we would be back in SL by 2019 is as laughable as some of the terrible decisions made by the person on the far left of my signature and those he employed to the right!
I will continue to follow the team, but the club as an entity is nothing more than his Tonka Toy!

Let's lay an urban myth to rest here shall we?
My first 2 posts on this topic.....
Quote: jaybs "For anyone interested, pretty comprehensive details about the facilities here
rlhttps://www.tfsc.co.uk/rl
As with ANY ground we play at, there will be the usual avalanche of "it's a bugger to get to" type posts, so just to head the whiners off at the pass
FOLLOWED BY.....
Quote: jaybs "Like the Hive, the biggest stumbling block for development is the neighbours. It's a pretty nice area and I would suspect if they do develop it, then it won't be any higher than the current 2 storey stand. The Seating at one end behind the sticks can be replicated at the other end so it could probably stretch to a 3k seat stadium......but never a SL standard ground.
The Union lads are clothes by under armour, so hopefully we get to see some decent replica and leisure wear in the shop. Will Trailfinders sponsor us next year?
Here's the stand behind the sticks at the Vallis Way End which holds 480...notice that it's lower than the tree line.
This is opposite the main grandstand...I believe there are 120 seats here on match days, either side of the dugouts. No treelines apparent to block the view from the houses at the rear, so planning could prove tricky
'"
THEN YOUR FIRST INPUT.
Quote: jaybs "I will wait until we get all the Facts, on paper (if true) it's not a very good prospect, ironic when Leeds Rhino's are so keen to play Wigan Warriors in London this breaks?
Supporter owned club, is there any real evidence there is there is a real thirst for this? would those involved be able to really raise the funds needed, where would the club be based then? how would you replace the real money Hughes has and is putting in? why we have never been able to break through with other investors I can't understand, when a man with money goes from London to Bradford to buy into rugby.
It is only the last few seasons that we kept hearing here how The Skolars was the future, what are they doing currently? perhaps the game will only ever be amateur in the South do we have to accept it? seeing Oxford beat as they were at the weekend with a record score, one journalist said straight after the match, Swinton break records Great, is it great.
As a sport we have been fed and so many believe we The Greatest Game, one that attendances are still dropping, a Challenge Cup that attendances are a disgrace and a top semi is taken to a ground that holds 13,024? just to make it look good on TV, play it on a Friday night kick off 7.45pm a time that fits BBC TV, try getting across the M62 at that time on a Friday. The Academy League is rumoured to be reduced to 8 teams? many clubs joining together? who does a real talented player sign for, which club? The game itself so predictable with the kicking on the last tackle, scrums which are a joke, last Friday night watching Sky I turned off with 15 minutes to go I was bored.'"
Your post has nothing to do with the move to Ealing other than you waiting for it to be announced officially. You then wander off into the musings of a tired and depressed RL fan bemoaning the state of the game across the board.
Ergo. This thread as with a great deal of other threads gets derailed by people like you who prepare to shoot the messenger rather than accept what he is saying has some value.

| You just ignore reality more like.
You’ve got form for slagging Skolars but now that St David of Hughes is moving us to a ground that makes New River look like Wembley you’re on board as usual.
