Whereabouts are Wasps moving to? Or are they just going to build a new stadium in Wycombe?

You make a totally irrelevant comparison of course. Do you think that DH should have moved us best part of 100 miles north of Harrow? That's just about half way from London to the M62.

How is it irrelevant? As for Hughes? He can do what he wants and has done so for a few years now.....
Remind me how that has worked out for the club?

David Hughes could have moved us to Jupiter and some fans would applaud him. Personally, I'd accept Coventry in OUR OWN STADIUM rather than the arrangement we currently have......we are still searching after 3/years for anyone to even take us in for more than a year.
So yes....compared to what h did, Coventry would have been less damaging

just reading the article in regards to wasps new ground... it shows how rugby league has fallen so behind... union clubs securing grants for stadiums, Low crowds, players leaving to go to union, poor sponsors no internationals... The RFL really need to acknowledge that there is a MASSIVE problem with our sport.... The only way we can get out of this whole is asking the NRL for some guidance

The NRL understand expansion and the benefits of having a team in an area that opens up the game to noew fans. The NRL and the clubs understand the need to adapt and merge to survive. The NRL appreciate the true value of their sport and how to extract the most revenue for the game. The NRL comprehend the benefit of employing administrators from outside the sport to drive it forwards.
We have Fat Nigel and fans that applaud cheap tickets, but who wont pay full price for anything anymore.........the game as a professional entity is as good as dead outside the top 6 teams in the UK.......it could be self sustainable and even dare I say it, profitable....but as long as you have benefactors like Hughes flushing cash down the toilet, it will always struggle to achieve even 10% of its potential.

Totally agree with you, rugby league in the UK needs a massive shake up

Insanity is most assuredly the domain of David Hughes flushing £15,000,000 down the tubes over 6 years...
....and I didn't say I'd be happy to move to Coventry, I said owning our own stadium there would be preferable to the current situation

| Firstly we are not Wasps, if I had any interest in the sport they play, then I might be interested in what Wasps supporters think of the plan! Second, so the bloke who lives in NZ and does not actually come to any games (Ok 1) is the one person on here who would be happy with a move like the one Wasps are doing.
Oohh look Keepmoat stadium needs some money, why dont we buy that and move up their!!! would that stil;l be acceptable to you Gutters?
