| What wil be interesting will be the eights.. I can just see the RFL putting all there home and away games clumped like the regular season. IF they do that then it will be more obvious how they are rigging this for Toronto than Australian cricketers rigged the ashes.

| Must be a real pain for the poor little loves, all these games in a block away from home away from there families and loved ones all the time. Errr hold on!
Remember the discussion we had about player citing home sickness as his reason for his get out then going to Canada ( oops Manchester) he seems to be quite happy, even when they de camp to Canada it will be for 9 home games not 11 looks pretty cushy to me.
Anyone know if the stadium re surfacing is on schedule?
How about putting money on them playing there middle 8 home games in the UK?
Australian cricketers did not rig anything, they just cheated.

| I have been told that the completion date for the work on Lamport Stadium has moved back to 29th June.
With our game on 9th June where does that leave us? Perhaps we shall play the game at Skolars.
Seriously something needs to be sorted.

| There was an article in the Toronto Sun back in January stating end of June as the completion of the renovation work.

| Did the initial report not say end of June with possibility of it being earlier if the weather was kind and the contractor cracked on with it.
Contractor working on a govt contract is never going to have an early completion bonus, so what reason would they ever finish early?
Think it’s pretty set our game will not be at Lamport Stadium! What incentive do Toronto have to find another venue in Canada? Any bets on when the announcement will come to say where in the UK the game will be played?

| Surprised that anyone has taken the risk in buying a ticket.

| The prices from Air Transat in the TWP promotion, increase as you get closer to the game.
At the moment you get the package for less than five hundred pounds each when two people travel. This goes up in April, which is why people have booked.
We regularly have this issue with away games though. Not that it is any comfort.

| Still not sure why anyone would have taken the risk of spending 500 notes to fly somewhere for a game that in Jan was looking highly unlikely to happen at the location or even in the country advertised! I hope for those that have booked that either the pitch is ready or a suitable alternative is found but I would still put my money on it being played closer to hull East Yorkshire than hull in Ottawa.
Let’s see what happens eh!

| Have to agree with you bosty.
But it’s the great expansion plan so who are we to complain.
I fail to see how woodsy can put a good spin on the value of Toronto with what’s happened so far this year.
Toulouse was one thing, Halifax in defence of Toronto if I am correct was driven by the RFL, so not fully sure what is going on.

I'd start with the club (London) as a first point of contact, then the RFL. I remember the French Fiasco, when fans were on the plane home as the game was kicking off......enough of us made a fuss that the Parliamentary RL group sought confirmation that for games so far away for away supporters this would never happen again.....I still don't know why it's gone all quiet on Hamilton?
