Warrington fans I know say Tony Smith might be available next season, would we have him, or more realistically would he have us.

With a full time squad we should at least have made the top 4.

i think a change of coach premature, not his squad, another turnaround with Grima leaving and players leaving at short notice caused serious disruption. i think he is worth another year? Smith or noble as a director/advisor maybe.......

Before anyone starts, and I mean no disrespect to the part time Championship sides but top 4 was the minimum requirement this season wasn't it? Was for me.

I assumed we would be in the top three, being as how we had just got relegated and we were full time. Along with Leigh and Bradford. I thought it too soon to believe we would be promoted, but we would be able to measure our progress against the Super League teams in the middle eight.
Did not work out did it. I could go on, but it is too depressing.

Making the 8s would have helped numbers , I think a lot of us just can't really get it up for the Pointless trophy, sorry Championship shield.
