Luke Burgess has been released by Leeds (along with Cross)....we need props, please please tell me someone from Quins management is aiming to get Burgess down here at least on trial!!!

We've got to go for Burgess, we are in desperate need for more props.

We've got a shed load of 'props' - Ambler, Wilkes, Ward, Temata, Thomas, Krasniqi, Williams, just none of them are able to make any impact as they are just not big enough. That said, watching Gallen play for NSW yesterday at prop, it just goes to show you dont have to be the biggest to mix it with the best. So maybe its just our blokes aren't any good ?

A little harsh on Ollie Wilkes, who for my money has been our best performer this season.

He has been probably one of the better performers....but I think that says more about the lack of quality across the squad than anything about Wilkes being a quality player.

Just watched Boots N All (recorded) from Wednesday...and Jon Wells makes a very good point, is bringing loan players helping us in the long term? These players are coming through....slowly! Think Olsi should be playing NL1 level to develop, he isn't ready for SL yet week in week out - But he is defo one that will make it if he keeps going at the same pace.

Burgess is better than pretty much all our props, so we should attempt to loan him....whether he wants to come to London, who knows...but we should try atleast.

Briggs again, if he can't make the Bradford team...how good is he? I'll hold judgement till I've seen him a few times. I hope he's a class act, god knows we need some!!

Quins would be foolish not to try and lure Luke to London for the rest of the season.

Seem to remember that when we signed Luke Gale, some Donny fans were telling us that we had signed the wrong half, as Briggs was a better player.

This whole loan situation has been brought about by the RFL being slow to react to DH's stance last year, imo. The club's existence wasn't secured until the beginning of September, so we had missed the boat when it came to signing players.

Did Kyle play this weekend? If so, how did he get on?

Yes. Steady performance, nothing to complain about. Needs a couple of games to be judged fairly.

Our own first grade squad ain't got depth, playing kids will see us getting battered more.
