Same place, give or take the odd thousand miles, as Gafa, Heckenberg, Skee and Physio Todd Williams, I should think.

Said he might be staying depending on if he can get a contract with a club closer to home as he wishs to be with his family up north, Warrington, Wigan and St Helens are apparently looking at him.
But if that doesn't work out he says he might stay with us.

Does that mean he'll have to hand back his presentation piece from this afternoon

| Williamson & Robinson still to eat up major cap space then.
I like Gafa but he's not been the same this year. Grayshon never did anything, Heckenberg good on his day but his day was not often enough.
Bit shocked by Haggy, but hey.
While I have defended him to the hilt, it pains me to say McDermott must go now.
Here's to another year of hopeless optimism

| Can't see the wisdom in letting Haggy go, we'll be short on props next year, sure we'll be overflowing with fairly average back row players like Esders, Golden and Wilkes, but that's not going to help our lack of go forward.
Unless of course BM's cunning plan for next season is to load the side with average second-row forwards?

I thought that it indicates earlier in this thread that he wants to go back north.

But could we financially afford for him to go. Didn't he sign a new contract last year that would need substantial money to pay off.

If he quits no. If he's sacked yes

Would guess the club [as all others do in all sports] will weigh up to costs in terms of player disatisfaction, supporters non ST renewals etc etc, it does however "appear" that the board support BM?
Can't be easy recruiting new players if they can see what is going on here.

Yep, but it also suggests he's not got another offer, so best to sign him up before he does get one, but instead we'll just keep on signing average SL second-row forwards like Esders, Golden and Wilkes to join our average NRL import second-row forwards Robinson and Williamson, but hey it's an improvement on Jonny G.

Hughes has always been soft when it comes to this sort of thing, admittedly TR was a close mate of his, but TR went on a bit too long in the head coach role, now it looks like BM will too.
I know BM has limited resources but we've looked absolutely clueless in the last four home games, Gafa was a passenger but we play him anyway, Dorn couldn't unwrap a chocolate bar but we look to him to unlock defences. And, I know I keep banging on about it, but BM's fondness for signing solid but plodding second-row forwards isn't actually strengthening the real weaknesses in the side.

1649_1338292262.jpg I have followed the LONDON CLUB since I was in my teensl even though born in St Helens and still live nearby and went to the first game at Fulham, also Big West Ham Supporter:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_1649.jpg |

| I always seemed to think Brian was a man of principal, looking back at this season if he reflects on what he has said and what has been delivered, often having his head in the sand! then I would hope he will resign.
Perhaps a championship side will allow him more time to learn what a coach/mangers role really is, personally I wonder if he is more an assistant than boss man, not sure I would like to see him as a youth coach as some have suggested.
