1649_1338292262.jpg I have followed the LONDON CLUB since I was in my teensl even though born in St Helens and still live nearby and went to the first game at Fulham, also Big West Ham Supporter:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_1649.jpg |

| Quote: Darthchris "I hate the Stoop, never liked it don't think I ever will. well maybe if they turned the house lights down post match it would make the place feel less soulless and clinical, anyway, to me its never felt like home.
That said moving would be utterly ridiculous.
The only reason the club should ever consider moving is if we're kicked out - we might be completely unwanted there who knows
Or if we own/part own our new ground.'"
This time around I have not enjoyed the experience at all, the word soulless is completely right.
I wish we all know the full reasons for leaving, I just hope that the club just do not want to renew the agreement and any move is temporary until we may part own our new ground & home, as I doubt we will ever be in the position to own our own.
It's completely wrong if the club continue to hold out until the home game to make a full honest statement.

Tut tut, speculating without waiting for the club to inform us of the facts, anyone would think this is a discussion forum.

simpsons/017.jpg Welcome Quins Kitties born 02.04.09 -
Purdo - Determined, loveable with a "can-do" attitude. A born leader.
Louie - Big, white and fluffy. A very noisy prop forward.
Harley- Cute and gorgeous (just like our no.9) Well, I couldn't call her Chad, could I?
Update on Quins Mogs :-
Purdo - deffo leader amongst Mogs. The Capo.
Louie - turned out to be more like Louie Spence than LMS. Re-named Judas.
Harley - Cute but not as gorgeous as our no.9.
Oh well, at least I haven't got a Willy.:simpsons/017.jpg |

| Yes but imagine The Stoop if we were a team like (say) Warrington. The place would be buzzing before and after the game (if Darth could get the lights dimmed)
The Stoop was great when we were still optimistic about the new regime and the chances of getting in the play-offs.
The last few years we've had, anywhere would be like a funeral parlour!
PS Believe me, it's a great place when you are watching a consistently successful team! Go Quins...

| Still awaiting a real source for this story after more than 20 pages on here, other than JonB95's opening reference to a story in The Sun.
I suspect that the real source is this very thread.

It was on the Sky Sports site too. I doubt they would post it without research.
The big mystery is the silence form the club, but then again maybe not.

Sporting Life also.
Club Facebook has been bombarded with comments, all met with silence.

| So why the silence?
1. Bureaucratic inertia- they will tell us at the HKR game and not before
2. It is Gillingham, they are scared and they revert to (1)
3. They are still negotiating and have their fingers crossed
4. They don't give a toss
5. It is the Olympic stadium and they can't announce until after the Paralympics

Correct me if I'm wrong, But I believe that their Tony Rea story quoted "Sky sources" widely believed to be Stevo. Their Gillingham report did not quote any source.
The only journo who seems to have done any worthwhile investigation is Ian Ramsdale, reporting on twitter. This is what he reported at lunchtime today: "Gillingham is one of many options. The one the press picked up on. It is being considered, along with others."
Ramsdale or The Sun? I know which I'm more likely to believe.
EDIT, just found this from him: "In regards to #LondonBroncos "home" for 2013: nothing's been decided, options are being considered. More on my BBC programme tomorrow 9pm "

That sounds like a bit too much awareness!

| Oh dear, they were discussing our move to Gillingham on SL Cackchat and I'm afraid that Stevo made it sound like it's a done deal.
He said the rent Quins are asking for is astronomical.
Can you believe, Stevo and Andy Wilson are in support of such a move....what planet are they on?
TBF, the hideous Rod Spud thinks we should stay in London (but that may be disengenous as Stevo said Spud hasn't got any time for our club).
Make of it what you will, but it's not looking good for the future of SL in London.
