Yeah, we'll see. As I've said before the Ealing move is only good news if we're investors, and I suspect we're not.

| Quote: Molly Malone "PMSL? Pretty much the same number of people attended the first game under DH's sole ownership than have attended all season this year......Griffin Park was the only ground that we GREW attendances at and the leaked season ticket holder data showed that the vast majority of our regular attendees were based in West London. You may have a inion, but the facts and the data point to West London being where most of our fans live.
Not sure what you expect to gain from declaring my name on here, but it's hardly a secret given the amount of correspondence between me, the RFL and the club over the years coupled with the handful of Broncos friends I have on Facebook and even some on Linked In. I don't "hide" my identity and stand by everything that I have said regarding the club. As for being embarrassed of Barnaby as my name? Are you 5yrs old?
Does your need to "out me" stem from your inability to engage in reasoned debate?'"

But then you still have to run the gauntlet like the Warriors on their way back to Coney Island.

| Copley Close IS awful, even a frightening place, but most of the "Yoot" tend to stay on the estate itself and providing you don't bother them they 'prolly won't bother you(my little/younger brother actually rented a place there for about four years, so I speak from experience).
I just hope theres a possibility to build there (Vallis Way that is, NOT Copley Close, lol)and be a permanent part of the Trailfinders expansion.

In the early days of this thread I believe a link was posted to the regeneration of Copley Close and the surrounding area. Whilst the area was a very unpleasant one a few years back, great strides are being taken to make it more appealing. There was a pub called the Old Bill that was eventually shut down because it's where west London coke dealers frequented en-masse. Cracking headline in the local paper was "The Old Bill shut down The Old Bill"
That said, it is very unlikely that any fans would have to cross the estate to get to the ground, which has its main points of access on the posh streets.

Translated as look at me everyone. I used to hand out door drops then, the attendances went up a fraction.
1. Has a grandiose sense of self-importance (e.g., exaggerates achievements and talents, expects to be recognsed as superior without commensurate achievements).
2. Is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, or ideal love.
3. Believes that he or she is “special” and unique and can only be understood by, or should associate with, other special or high-status people (or institutions)
4. Requires excessive admiration.
5. Has a sense of entitlement, i.e., unreasonable expectations of especially favourable treatment or automatic compliance with his or her expectations.

so far off the mark it's funny. Simply put, I was responding to the claim that West London wasn't where we should be by using factual evidence. As usual, now that you've become one of the clique on here, you'd rather cloud the issue by making an unfounded and incorrect attack on the poster of the facts.
Even better, you decry the increase in attendances over 4 years at Griffin Park as "a fraction"......it doesn't change the fact that they did in fact GO UP whereas they went down everywhere else!
I didn't mention the leaflet drops which may or may not have helped, along with the on the road games, making the pay-offs 2 out of 4 seasons and running a free beer campaign in Metro!

| So why did the crowds drop at the Stoop which is West London(? SW). Or did they just drop to the pre Bentford levels?

The collapsed at the stoop thanks to the sterling job done by Hughes and his top class CEO's Blanchard and MacKay as well as the disastrous appointment of Powell as head coach.
We were god awful in 2004 but at least we still engaged the fans......the club under Hughes is nothing more than a rich mans toy

Still feel the best solution, is not to feed animals, we may then get The LONDON BRONCOS forum back.

| Does anybody know if parking will be available, as getting the train from where we live (Staines) will be a pain, as on wrong trainline to get to Ealing...
Not too bothered if we have to pay, more that we don't have to park in surrounding streets
Cheers

Given a choice between GF ranting about attendances or you with your head firmly rammed up the owner’s backside I choose the man with many aliases every time.

A friend who lives near by agrees with their website statement that there is plenty of onsite parking. Looks like Trailfinders RU charge a fiver to park on match day.
