Danny Ward has done a fantastic job with the resources available to him. The team that won promotion and played in SL went way beyond the sum of its parts.

He was always going to move on to better things at some point and I hope that is what he got lined up.

If the club have released DW for any other reason it would only emphasise how bonkers things have got.

But the point is, a club that is going places, with ambition would be making sure Ward did not want to leave.

Perhaps Danny has seen the way the club is heading and wanted out. Seems odd that he was willing to see the season out and yet he's been let go now.

Surely the club would have kept him on till the end of the season or untill a new coach comes in, that said this is the Broncos so quite par for the course.

I'm beginning to doubt the club will see the season out the way things are going.

The official statememt says this will allow a new coach time to plan for the 2022 season. So lets see how quickly a new coach is actually appointed and what sort of ambition that suggests for next season.

Or perhaps with no prospect of promotion DH is looking to cut his losses on this season.

You wont get a better coach. You only had to look at the squad to see we had zero chance of promotion. What odds we replace Ward with someone already at the Club.
