Michael Jennings is unhappy at Penrith. He could set Super League alight. But London Broncos would probably need some exemptions, including salary cap, from RFL to be able to sign him.

However first London Broncos needs a second hooker, and then perhaps another dominant Kaufusi type at prop, to be competitive with the top 5 or 6 clubs.

If we need some weight in the pack, Manly's George Rose would fit the bill.

He can't fit in anything.

When I first saw him on Premier Sports this season, I thought my TV had turned into a Tardis and I was watching someone from 25-30 years back - haven't seen the like of him on a pitch since Steve Pitchford retired!

I thought the same about Tooks -how wrong I was! I would love Big George here - a legend in the making.

Colly2 would not approve of Big George.

I don't mind a big fella or two but you've got to protect them defensively.

On a more serious note, if we need a really intimidating second rower, South's Dave Taylor would fit the bill, except that we probably couldn't afford him.

He has also signed for the Gold Coast after his wife got homesick in Sydney! Don't think they'll be flying round the world any time soon.

I don't think we've got any space for overseas players.

Maybe we will unearth another Chris Hill.....or Jonny G might come back

Ah, yes, the television contract. Last week the 'Times' reported that Channel Nine's owners, Nine Holdings, had just had to sell their magazine business for A$500million to avoid breaching their banking covenants and apparently Seven and Ten (whose finances were wrecked by an excessive bid for RL some years back) aren't looking that healthy either.
