| If the athletics track stays its no good to us just as its no good for the Footie fans - though West Ham and spurs management would go for it still. What a spectacle killer that track is!!

That is why I never liked our time at Crystal Palace and the same with visits to Sheffield and Gateshead, it
simply does not work, not sure really if Karen Brady has the answer with the removable seats?

16679.jpg Well f**k my hat, I didn't know that!
Come all without, come all within, we're London Broncos not the H********s!:16679.jpg |
|
| Despite all this talk of an athletics legacy, if the powers that be want a working stadium for football or rugby (or both) then the track will go! Otherwise they'll end up with a great big white elephant that MIGHT get to stage a Grand Prix athletics meet anually or MIGHT get to host the World Athletics Championships! It will be like how the Dome was for the years before it became the 02!

At the end of the 2010 season we had an average of 3,380......that has dropped 21% over 17 home games. Witht the exception of the much trumpeted return of the Broncos, crowds are actually tacking at 38% LESS THAN 2010.
Catalans 2,069 1,829 DOWN 12%
HuddS 2,624 1,970 DOWN 25%
Wakey 2,875 2,268 DOWN 21%
Castlefrd 4,128 2,381 DOWN 43%
Saints 3,547 4,924 UP 38%
If anyone in a position of power takes either a good or a bad attendance at either OTR game as a guideline for a future move, then it is proof positive that the nutters have taken over the madhouse
What has caused this dramatic decline in crowds is:
a> a crap team
b> a crap coach
c> failure to fire the coach
d> continued mickey mouse attempts at marketing......
No doubt, a record 4,780 at Gillingham or 5,612 at Orient will see the circus up sticks again and ship itself eastwards.......which would involve a pretty hefty commute for most of the staff (if their 192.com records are correct)....

No doubts at all! LOL and I'm sure Newham Council will do the players and any of us who wish to move into
the Olympic Village then we can be One Happy Family! LOL or should that be community!
Gutterfax you accuse me of being blind towards any move to the East of the Capital but you seem as blind
that there is not one problem with the stoop which I do not see as complete truth!

simpsons/017.jpg Welcome Quins Kitties born 02.04.09 -
Purdo - Determined, loveable with a "can-do" attitude. A born leader.
Louie - Big, white and fluffy. A very noisy prop forward.
Harley- Cute and gorgeous (just like our no.9) Well, I couldn't call her Chad, could I?
Update on Quins Mogs :-
Purdo - deffo leader amongst Mogs. The Capo.
Louie - turned out to be more like Louie Spence than LMS. Re-named Judas.
Harley - Cute but not as gorgeous as our no.9.
Oh well, at least I haven't got a Willy.:simpsons/017.jpg |

| It would be interesting to know how many of the current fan-base would (genuinely) follow the team to another location.
Might be good to have a poll along lines of "Would you watch London Broncos in another part of London" and "Would you watch London Broncos in Kent or another part of SE England"?
Personally, I am mad enough to watch LB pretty much anywhere in London, but I'm not sure that I would travel to Gillingham every other week.
Actually, probably not a good idea to have such a poll at the moment, as with the amount of negativity around, most people would probably say they wouldn't cross the road to watch them

| I currently drive up from Haslemere (via Stanwell to collect my lad) for home games, round trip of near 100 miles. If the club moved to East London or even worse Kent, I'd give up our season tickets and probally just attend 3 or 4 games a season- and from previous experience with football, once you get out the habit of attending each home game it becomes easy to find other things to do, more so when you haven't got a season ticket

Good attendances may equally indicate that the operation could be run like a circus.. pitch up a new site each week, do enough to attract a one-time crowd with no need for repeat business, no need to establish roots... it's surely the way forward....
