He's one of the reasons I started and continued watching and supporting league in London, a suberb ambassador not only for RL in south but for sport as a whole.

Still gutted he's leaving, been a great player for us, a great role model on and off the field, he will be sorely missed, I wish him all the luck for when he goes home and I hope he does manage to get a contract at another SL club, would be a shame to not see him play anymore at the level hes capable of.

Have to agree with all that's been said about Rob and what he has done for the club and us fans. And wish him all the best of luck back home in Cumbria.

My only regret at seeing him go, is i would have loved to see him in next season squad with all the signings we have made. Cant help feel he would have added a lot to the new squad, and possibly ended his time with us on a high note, and maybe in the land of pipe dreams a possible play off or CC final would have be nice for him to finish on...

Good luck to them all. He's a London Legend. He came to us when very few young Northern players would make the jump 'down south'.

I lived in Surbiton for nearly 20 years. I never did see Rob out and about, although it would explain why I once saw a Mini driven by Ricki Sheriffe pass my house.
