Perhaps he was told not to kick.
That was Randalls job.

| my thought would be that a hooker wouldnt do the kicking anyway unless it was near the line and was a little stab grubber into the ingoal area. i think half backs should normally do the kicking anyway.

| With due respect to Wakefield, it comes to something when a decent young player like Ellis decides that Wildcats are a better proposition than Quins. Truly depressing news. Has anyone at our club got any idea ? Its seems at the moment like one way traffic out the door, other than retention of has beens .... Gale, Ellis, Purdham, deary me. These marquee players had better be worth the wait ie Bryant had better not be the pinnacle else I give up.

| For me then Randall moves solely into the hooking position...along with whoever we bring in to replace Ellis...seems a few rumours that'll be Rinaldi.
We need to focus of 2 quality half backs now, with Sarginson gaining experience as and when as next season rolls on.
Dorn at FB
Randall at 9
two playmakers are sorely needed to complete that spine!!
Plus Purdham is gone....reckon Bailey will take the 13 jersey next season?

| Agree with Plum. That's 2 of our key players gone, both of them young.
And, if you can believe Wikipedia, rlthings could get worse.rl

| If its a swap between Ellis and Rinaldi, then it seems Wakey have the better of the bargain. Although Rinaldi has been outstanding for us these 18 months, I think he's getting slower and his handling skills at DH are getting worse while Ellis is a younger, quicker and has pretty good handling as far I have seen him.

You could not script this. He is atrocious. We are becoming a laughing stock. Imagine him, Clubb and O'Callaghan on one side pmsl. Are we going out of our way to recruit our cast offs from years gone by, who had their best before they joined us / whilst with us - Rinaldi, Worrincy, what next Martin, Retchless, Gill. Do the powers that be think that by bringing back these characters, it will inspire the fans.

Says it all doesn't it. God I'm depressed.
Thanks nonetheless Andy - a rare beacon of quality these last two seasons.

| Sad to see Ellis go! it was bad enough seeing Rob Purdham have to return home, I wonder if it was Andy's choice? has he had his two seasons with us and wants to return home to friends and family.

| Hilarious, what is Ellis thinking? He could easily play for a top side, yet he elects to sign for Wakefield Good luck.
I assumed Worrincy would head to Widnes tbh.
