| I wish NOT! rumours circulated last weekend he was searching for a new club, then come the Shock!! announcement of his club retaining a licence, all of a sudden he wants to stay and is happy, then I wonder if someone spoke with him and he comes out with the statement I think it is best to do no more than a cycle of seasons at one club and that is now over.
Often heard him described by his own supporters! as a man who can make bad players look average and turn quality players Bad? plenty of Hot Air comes out of his mouth but??

| He had a terrible hand this season, and has done well with cast-offs and kids. I didn't think they would win a game all season and apart from the last month have not looked bad. He has more experience than Powell and that is what we need.

As opposed to the team of superstars and massive budget Rob Powell has had to work with?

Well Harris and his Bunch of Crusaders showed Kear what a bad hand he has, let him go to Castleford!

I meant he had been dealt a terrible hand with Wakey going into administration. I have no idea what you are talking about.

| I imagine he's going 'home' to Cas. Not sure he'd add much down here, Id prefer Noble as director of football.

| Think he's a good coach and an intelligent man. Doubt it will happen but I think it would be a positive appointment.

Yeah I know you did, tongue in cheek, and possibly in bad taste it was a reference to the twitchy hands that you see when he is coaching during the game and I'm sure I've seen it when he's speaking on camera. No harm meant on my part and none on yours.

| So players have never learnt anything from the dozens of these aussie coaches that have been in the UK for years and years?
Something was mentioned on VT about Gareth Ellis being re-educated by Tim Sheens about his defence. Thing is, he was almost exclusively coached in SL by coaches from the Australia and NZ.
There is nothing special about them here. Really. It's down to depth of player talent. I wish people could change their mind sets about it and realise that. They know nothing special or new. All the aussies in the UK have english people around. Do they not learn anything that they don't allegedly know already?

When Lenegan signed up Maguire to replace Noble at Wigan, he said it wasn't due to individual coaching abilities but to Maguire bringing with him methods and techniques used in Oz but not here. You'd be in a better position than me to judge the truth of that, but the proof of the Maguire pudding (probably should be a pie as he's in Wigan) has been in the eating.

Sounds like propaganda as to why they got him in. Did he mean, grapples, head locks and the rest? Am gobsmacked that with the amount of aussies coaching over there, that people haven't apparently learnt anything.
