Leigh seem to be signing anyone available! Perhaps they are hoping for The Guinness Book Record, for the largest squad, be interesting what they are payingL

Perhaps the Sundeck business has been booming through the pandemic.
The only thing is, that the last time Leigh were relegated, Mr Beaumont threw his toys out of the pram when their promotion chances
disappeared. I hope that this does not happen again !

They love buying a player Leigh. Almost as much as they enjoy slating them when things don’t go the way they hoped. I kind of get a player going to Leigh. They usually do well, are FT and are near Manchester which Insuspect is not a bad place to hang out if you are young. But Batley? That’s not such a good sign is it. Next we’ll be signing exclusively L1 players. Oh hold on.......

Brad Foster in. Hope he’s good and I wish him well but I notice he too was a promising L1 player. By the law of averages some of these L1 players will actually be L1 players and if we have too many of them we know where that leads.

Tough season ahead although. It does look like Coleman has a plan. What it is we shall see.

Really annoying I thought he and Jones were the 2 academy products that looked at the right level and they are the 2 we have lost. Sigh.

Got a few knocks didn’t he. I was impressed he came back for the last game because he was in a leg brace not many weeks before hand. All the best to him.

I can understand 1 player being suckered to go to Batley but 2!!! I suppose there is safety in numbers.

The scramble for players is like a game of musical chairs...in 2022 we have 26 chairs but when the RFL stops the tunes, there'll only be 20 seats.....pro players have to do what's right for them and batley are a safer bet than London.

Really, we currently have a squad of 9 players, but yes 4 new signings have been announced in the last 10 days or so.

Admittedly a slow start by Leigh but I’ve every confidence 20 odd players will be added in short order. Leigh will be there or thereabouts come the end of the season.
