Ground out a win today. Plenty of defending in the 1st half due to errors, not a great deal of attacking. The team picked up massively in the second half.

Hendo played the first 20, Nasso for the rest of the game. Morris in as Kear out with a dead leg.

Overall a great professional win. Three games in a week, all wins, bloody marvellous.

Good to get another win. We were not all that in the first half. We kept trying to force the play and kept giving up the play. It was wet though and we were playing into the wind.
Took control second half, had a few bits of luck, but gained the upper hand.
Two more points in the bag. We are on our way!

Trouble is we cant do that anymore, as we were brought into line with rest of the clubs 4 or 5 years ago on overseas players. You need to keep up.

Gary how many overseas players do we have now? A couple went back and 2 are injured for the season if I'm not mistaken. Playing, is it just Wes?

Rhys Lovegrove?

If I remember correctly. Rhys Lovegrove is exempt from the Overseas quota. Due to the amount of time he has played in this country.

How is Tom Gilmore playing? We need a decent halfback to replace Mellor.

Not entirely sure from a purist sense, but both Hendo and Rhys L played for Scotland and Nasso Italy, so from that perspective only Harrison and Wes, with Slyney and Farrar out injured. Does that sound correct ?

Yesterday there were loads of Tykes gobbing off about how we only have Aussies playing for us and we cant produce local players. Seriously !!!!

He has been going well, but he was quite indifferent yesterday. I think 3 games in 7 days has taken its toll on him and others. Too many unforced errors and TG at least 3 forward passes.

A lot of games in 7 days mate. The lad has talent and i hope he does well the rest of the season.

I think it is dual reg mate, but if Brown or Mellor get injured then Craven gets called back.

Solid, good pace and decent ball carrying. Two school boy errors though, one led to their try the other knocked on a simple pick up in goal. Work in progress but would expect EK to be back on Sunday.
