Try 48-14. icon_biggrin.gifOH:

Hurst having a nightmare at FB according to the guys on BBC Merseyside... Have said its down to our bench being weak compered to Wires.

But at least prising the fact trying out youngest and all from London, and not giving up.. Still don't help when listening to what happening as they collapsing..

The guys on Radio claiming Witt is our best player then if that's the case we must be bad.. icon_sad.gif

Make that 50-14 now..

Oh well at least we wont end the weekend by being beated by the highest score, Wigan have put 70 over HullKR and Hudds have put 62 over Widnes (so far we not the worse)... icon_rolleyes.gif

Have to say the two guys on the radio Ray French and Mark Foster have been very fair to us compared to some I have heard on here about us.. Been full of praise about the young lads from London and the work we have done down here and said at least they never gave up trying...

Good for Erjon with his debut try. Final score nowhere near as bad as I'd feared. Seems that Witt and Dixon stood out. Maybe Witt's found his form at last. Let's hope so.

BTW, Lamont Bryan scored 2 tries for Fev today. Good on him.

It'll be fun in Hull this evening.

Ray French's commentary was hilarious, he doesnt even bother saying whats going on! He'll say 'great catch from Monaghan' and never mention that a try was scored at the end of it.

Just back and really proud of the kids (can't say lads they're too young). Never gave up as evidenced by scoring at the death. Witt was very good again, taking on the line as I thought he did on Thursday. Dixons hat trick try was pure Harlem Globetrotters. We just had a funny 10 minutes in the middle of the second half when Wire got on a roll and scored 3 quick tries.

We had more Brits and more homegrown players than a big heartlands club. How I wish the future was clearer.

More Brits? Looking at the non-Brits:

Warrington - Hodgson, J. Monaghan, M.Monaghan, Waterhouse.

London - Witt, Randall, Kaufusi, Fisher.

Reads like even-stevens to me.

AS for the home-grown, this is to be applauded. I have always thought their should be an informal agreement between SL clubs to not entice Academy produced London players.

Sorry forget Fisher - don't count him as a player as he is the coach. Takes "get the coach of the pitch" to a whole new meaning.

Broncos: Hurst, Colbon, Channing, Melling, Dixon, Witt, Woodburn-Hall, Cook, Randall, Wheeldon, McMeeken, Lovell, Kaufusi

Broncos: Sarginson, Robertson, Howell, J O'Callaghan, Caton-Brown, Dorn, Gower, Clubb, Lee, Bryant, Rodney, Bailey, L O'Callaghan

Reps: Krasniqi, Fisher, Dollapi, Grady

Which is the stronger team?

I'm sorry to be a deliberate pessimist but this defeat merely accentuates the Catalans defeat. We all know the Easter period is a testing one for SL clubs as evidenced by TR's rotation policy; Thing is, that would have made a lot more sense if we hadn't thrown away Thursday's game at the death.

I'd feel a lot better with one win from those two fixtures, notwithstanding yesterday's positives.

On the subject of kids - Skolars had nine (9) debutants in their NRC dead-rubber at Rochdale and only lost 40-14! The youth are the future!
