The question is - can we lobby Quins about this? I am also on holiday on 8/9 August. I planned the holiday especially not to coincide with any Superleague fixtures.

I also remember this game. I spent an hour or so at Twickenham before kick-off handing out leaflets advertising our game and the £5 offer. Many fans said they were interested but they were going back after the game and had it been Friday etc etc.

Also going back many years (about 1983), I remember Fulham playing Cardiff on cup final eve at Stamford Bridge. It certainly seemed to attract a larger crowd than normal.

Would be a shame if it didnt go ahead on the friday night before the cup final, but if it doesnt, so be it.

And I totally agree with you not having sympathy for a team from the north travelling down on a friday night concidering the number of times you guys have to do it in the opposite direction. Ive driven that M1 plenty time from the south on a friday afternoon and its a non stop crawl from south of East Midlands Airport through to the M18 junction.

Very strange that. I would expect one of these games to be on Sky....so I would hold on before booking tickets to Odslum for the 2nd of August (Challenge cup semi-final weekend the following week) as it may be picked for TV.

Seems a bit daft to have it that weekend for this reason alone. If the CC Final weekend wasn't feasible it should have been last week or 6th round weekend at the end of this month. We've got the worst of the four options.

Whys it such a problem playing them 2 weeks running?
