Disappointing crowd but surely not surprising. Travel problems all over the South East, some planned, some due to the storm last night.
Agreed, but the club cant rely on us who travel from every corner of the capital. They need to entice locals who arent affected by travel, can walk up on match day, etc. I think we all know by now there isn't an ideal day/time for Broncos to play as there are always 'issues' for some and not others.

i was at the game yesterday. i think the pitch was wet from all the rain previously, it was windy and cold - thats all i meant. agree totally about the first half, some of the penalties we gave away were criminal! Luckily they couldnt kick and that kept us in the game. thought we always capable of winning in the second half as long as we cut out mistakes. Whey didnt eliab play? He needs some game time or his confidence is going to dip.
On the crowds, really wasnt a day for neutrals - cold etc etc. if we keep winning and the weather improves, hopefully so will the crowd!

Agree, although I found going M25 (I join at Staines J13), M40 then A40 much easier To the ground yesterday (previously went A30 => A312 => A40, and the A312 to A40 roundabout was a nightmare).. Going back I always go A312 => A30 as traffic not so bad going south.
But trying to get there on Public transport from where we are would be nightmare (train to Brentford then bus to Ealing)

| We go through the supporter thing every ground we go to. Converting the locals of Ealing into rugby league fans is not going to happen. Reality is our target audience is from all over London, Greater London, south coast, home counties it's actually a massive catchment area. Yes there are frustrations with traffic, public transport etc etc but if people want to get to watch rugby league they will find a way. Few away fans managed well enough.
Brian not having a dig, that pitch was dry as a bone so they cannot use it being wet as an excuse for handling errors

I don't feel any of our halves seem to know how to really unlock a defence. Leatherbarrow shovels the ball around quite neatly but to little effect. Bartheau, drifts in and out of games
To make the halves' jobs easier, I'd still like to see a big forward who can rally stick it to the opposition. We're too lightweight in my view

What's putting me off? £20 to get in and watch second tier rugby in a half built stadium with over an hour's travel thrown into the bargain.

| Buy your ticket in advance and save a fiver.
Entry to Trailfinders is good value compared to the twenty two pounds it costs to get into that hole in the ground that is Odsal.

| Think £20 is fine if you get a seat in the main stand but far to much if you have to watch pitch side think that should only be a tenner.

| 400+ over Easter isn't too bad following yet another move. Your right about £20 a pop, it is excessive.

| £20 a pop to stand on the side of the pitch has put me off.
I'll get out there eventually this season, but I'm not in a rush after reports of those that have attended this year.

cartoons/WB24.gif Life is pretty simple: You do stuff. Most fails. Some works. You do more of what works.:cartoons/WB24.gif |

| You can stand if you want. But no one needs to stand currently as there are plenty of seats along side lines and behind the sticks. Whether you think their quality is another matter. If you know one a season ticket holder you could both benefit with one if the vouchers they've all received. It'll get you in for £15.
But really is £20 too much for a game in London? Halifax have tickets at £20 and £17 in the second tier, while Castleford and Wakefield are both £21 to stand and Hull KR sell theirs at £28 and £25 for adults. In football in London the Daggers charge £21 for away fans while Wimbledon charge £17 for the terrace and £25 for the stand. London Scottish charge £25, £20. London Welsh £20 for the grandstand.

| Bunch of skinflints. It costs me £40 for a peak return ticket to London in a journey time that is than a game of Rugby League. No wonder we have poor attendances if that's the attitude.
