| Great signing for you guys. Gower and Witt can be a devastating combination for you guys. With Sargrinson as back up (as youngsters should be used) things are looking up, especially compared to a week a go.
If i was Powell i'd try do a deal for K Pryce, not best defence, but scores tries, and with service from Gower & Witt, could see him have a field day,

simpsons/017.jpg Welcome Quins Kitties born 02.04.09 -
Purdo - Determined, loveable with a "can-do" attitude. A born leader.
Louie - Big, white and fluffy. A very noisy prop forward.
Harley- Cute and gorgeous (just like our no.9) Well, I couldn't call her Chad, could I?
Update on Quins Mogs :-
Purdo - deffo leader amongst Mogs. The Capo.
Louie - turned out to be more like Louie Spence than LMS. Re-named Judas.
Harley - Cute but not as gorgeous as our no.9.
Oh well, at least I haven't got a Willy.:simpsons/017.jpg |
|
| Bit of a risky signing but then most of our signings are.
Would be great if this one works out for us.

| Quote: markrammond "Hi Dave,
Kieron Dixon is our star fullback in the under 20s, he is incredibly fast, he was flying past Wigan and went half the length and the length of the field to score two tries about a month ago. He's not much bigger than Rob Burrow which makes him hard to tackle as he had a low centre of gravity.
If you can't get yourself down to the Aldershot Military Stadium one week you can see him on Sat 20th Aug 2011, kicking off at 12
Now I've never seen him play so can't comment but is someone of that height really a viable option at full back?

Someone must be able to get the best out of Karl Pryce, because everyone can see the potential, unfortunately it doesn't appear to be Rob Powell, although 11 tries scored is not a bad return in a weak team, although any team that does sign him would need to appoint a personal defensive coach just to get him switched on in d.

Thin line between heaven and here: |

| Good signing for us, so long as we make the most of his experience and use it to bring on the likes of Dan Sarginson.

From what I saw at Wigan though, he isn't that bad defensively either. He's just everyones favourite scapegoat.
Everyone expects him to be like GI, cos lets be honest, he has the size and talent to match. I still think he is a decent centre though, its just everyone knows he could do that much more.

| Can't believe it, I log on to the forum & more great news.
Welcome to London, Craig. The future is certainly looking rosy with the signings announced so far.
Lets try & get Burnett & Mitchell to stay & with a couple more players choosing to give London a go, next year could be the best season for ages.
THANK YOU DAVID HUGHES.

Living in Aldershot I've seen him a few times and think he has a real chance. He may not end up at full back of course, it's not unknown for people to chop and change position in the back line is it. If I remember correctly Keiron picked up the Iron Man award in the U18 team so he's tough enough. Have to say I'd not clocked he was that small. I knew he wasn't the biggest but didn't realise he was quite that small, says it all really.

'" Spot on. Scott Hill has hampered/hammered playing behind a weak pack and we are much weaker now. We need some beef/muscle up front to do some damage and tire the opposition then gower, Witt et al would do some real damage.
also agree re Karl Price, he scores tries! he is infuriating at times, but he can and does have an impact. Defence isnt great but then bluntly we havent defended for 2 years, but maybe with a bigger more aggressive pack that will also improve.........................

| Think Gower could be a canny signing especially if he's written off after a couple of years in RU. So long as he can keep his off-field shenanigans under control he could be a great influence on the pitch for the likes of Sarginson.
RE: Pryce; Wonder if he's worth bothering with to be honest. Lumbers around the park only looking interested about 25% of the time. Yes he's a threat close to the line but IMO he just doesn't show it often enough. Has looked great in flashes but that isn't enough.
