It was the season after we left Craven Cottage, when we were at Crystal Palace for most of the games. Cliff Dean had one, I've a couple of pictures of him in it but they're not for the faint hearted!

Never enjoyed the time at Crystal Palace, what a miserable place it felt, also I did not like the name change to London Crusaders in 91, about the only kit I did not get, never liked the badge. |

Didn't like Crystal Palace, was too big for our crowds and too far away from the action. As for the reported crowd figures 
Did play there in a curtain raiser though. |

I've 2 Crusaders shirts, one of the red and white Today shirts and a long sleeved 'Penrith' type shirt with multiple coloured thin 'hoops' in the middle. Today shirt a tad tight. V shirts are a little retro these days so unlikely to use, guess it depends on who we would want to be associated with, i.e. which incarnation. If we copied Wasps RU it could mean just changing the badge, should be a big like Barnet FC colours.

Yes, it was worn at Chiswick. I didn't know they had been auctioned - I'd have bid. I wrote to the manufacturer at the end of the season about one and got back a used envelope held together with chewing gum!
I did see someone wear one at Twickenham Stoop a couple of years back.
