Just seen the highlights. Absolutely depressing. Thought we were bad in the 2nd half at the time but seeing it again confirmed how completely unfit and and clueless we are.

Yep...the Volunteers were pretty much told that they weren't needed any more....no more meet and greeting and assisting new fans with information, no leaflet drops.....pretty much a thanks but no thanks....Brian and Alison would know more than me of exactly how it happened, but happen it did.

Interestingly, between the 2 cricketing CEO's, they have managed to shed over half of our fans as well as alienating those left without ever seeming to be taken to task for it by the Chairman....very odd indeed

Well, tried Adams Park and have to say that it does not work for me, the transport connections worked out ok but I am still looking at a 5 hour round trip involving 6 trains and 2 cab rides, so no thanks. Should we end up there next year I will not bother with a season ticket and may just go along for the odd game against opposition we have a chance of beating (allegedly).

Regarding the game……..I think the bottom line is that as a group the team are just not good enough, end of story, we seem unable to compete for any longer than 40-50 minutes and at this level we are found wanting time and time again. There are a few exceptions in the likes of Gower and Dixon who never stop trying, but I think we all know that the latter will likely be gone come the end of the season.

Suspect Gower will be off to at this rate.

couldnt make game as the late change - mucked up the arrangements i had made after the first re-arrangements!

It now is pretty obvious we have a gem in Dixon, a a few decent players, acouple with real potential - but we cannot do the basics, we particularly cannot defend, we give away endless penalties.

Deeply depressing and i am not sure how much more i can take.................................

Liked Adams Park but not practical for us Londoners who use public transport (4 trains, two tubes two taxis at a cost of £30...no thanks!).
