| Agree Listy...although I couldn't bet against my team.
Can see the score getting really ugly now...we'll do well to keep within 40 points of the oppo.
Let's hope we can get Growler and Robbo back for the Wakey game...don't think I can take another home defeat!

| Our biggest defeat must be 6 - 82 by Wire in 2011 (tho the 0-60 home defeat by Leeds in 2006 deserves an honourable mention!).
Think our worst defeat to Shudds was 14-64 (also in 2006).
To think 2006 was going to be our year!...No wonder the Union mob didn't bother.
Don't go Bronco Billy, it'll only upset you. Save your money and liver for Wakey.

| Can't miss this one.
You have to sit through some thrashings, then when the win comes it's all the sweeter.
Gonna take my toboggan in case the snow is too bad so I can still get home.
Must need my head examined!!!

| If Gower doesnt play - give Thomas a runout! Ideal opportunity to get him some SL experience. No pressure on him.

| Whilst Huddersfield had a good win last week, it was against a St Helens squad which has not made huge investment in the playing squad and has gradually declined with the retirement of the likes of Long, Cunningham, Sculthorpe etc. St Helens have a mix of very young players like Gaskell, Jones, Lomax and Makinson plus veterans like Wellens, Perry, Laffranchi, Hohaia and Wilkin with few players in their physical prime. St Helens were overpowered by a younger, stronger side which if it gets a 'roll on' can beat anybody.
However, it is a team which can also lose to everybody. Huddersfield were beaten at home last season by Salford, Wakefield Trinity Wildcats, Hull Kingston Rovers and Bradford Bulls and on their travels they were beaten by Widnes and smashed out of sight by Castleford Tigers. So they have been beaten by all the bottom half of the table sides except us in the past 12 months.
Can we win? Yes, absolutely - with the right selections.
I'd not be keen to see Channing, O'C and Hurst as size and physicality are critical against the powerful and fast athletes in the Huddersfield backs so I'm more keen to see Colbon, Grady and McMeeken for this one.
If we can play like we did in the seven minute spell against Widnes with a whirlwind of champagne rugby, but for far longer, we could have a chance. Our forwards will have to run as hard as they can too!
Can we score a high number of points? It is possible. Don't forget we won at Catalans a couple of weeks back! Rammo

| I liked the look of Wakey yesterday. There defence was ropey but they kept coming. We will have to be sharp and committed next Sunday. Good luck today !
