Joc is growing on me

All this drop ball is just killing me. if only they calm down just a little then we be closer in this game,as it is we giving the game to Saints.

JoC has improved since Penny was down here on load.

This basketball style of rugby is killing us at times, why do we try it in our own 10 mts and cough it up all the time.

Dam and Salford beating Bulls so thats us back down to 13th.

Strange, but that is exactly what us Saints fans were saying about our lot!

The final score flattered us somewhat.

Didn't sound like a classic.

It wasn't.

It wasn't a classic but when we pulled them back to within two points I really thought we could do it. Sadly an individual error killed us and that was game gone. Truth be told our completion rate in the first half wasn't good enough to my eyes - we coughed the ball up too easily too often. Second half we had Saints worried. The key moment may have been the penalty after they kicked out on the full when we went just 2 behind, we failed to find touch. A good set then would have had Saints rattled instead they grew in confidence and a poor individual error shortly afterwards saw them home and hosed.

Incidentally I saw Wigan Academy v Wire Academy on Saturday. Wire have a frighteningly good team, most of them are 17 and they are winning the U20 League. Quins might want to check out Phil Veivers lad at Wigan. A 20 year old full back, it's difficult to see him ever getting in their team but he seems to have something and may be worth a punt next season.
