What leads you to suspect the club would make much/any money out of this compared to manufacturer/supplier?
Rather strange you would think it didn't matter that shirts are different as surely that impacts on brand awareness. Not that there is much awareness of Broncos anyway.

| We may not make a penny but having a different jersey A possible new income stream.
Even a grant a tiny one I don’t think is a bad thing.
Also it has out broncos badge the shirt its shelf almost identical to the men’s shirt apart form Chevron is in purple.

I doubt the club make anything. Maybe the one who likes the simian sexy time gets some peanuts.

Fixtures are out. I'm guessing the opening game, Army away, will be played at Aldershot Military Rugby Stadium. Army RL are usually good at tweeting information, if anyone is interested in going I' d suggest keeping an eye on their Twitter feed.

| Would be good if at least one of the women's team fixtues co-incided with one of the men's.
Possibility of a double header?

You're the reason that people like Dave's pet chimp are employed to fiddle whilst the club burns.....
As for a collectors item. Lol. The club sent loads of unsold cricket shirts from Barnet to Africa as part of a kit charity initiative.....good luck flogging it in eBay.nigeria in a year or so.

| Ok orange but me the women’s game moment is a huge plus for RL especially after last week CC
I know we have some negative Nancy’s at the broncos for good reasons btw.
But the ladies game can only be a benefit for the broncos and a sneak peak of shirt it looks class!
I don’t give a F about a polo I am honest.
The club made huge mistakes
I regard bottom for us as Barnet I think the last 4/5 as positive. Not in fans through the turnstiles but in every other way I do.
And fans in turnstiles is hard for any club at mo the mo.
I just think some on this forum need to take a breath leave some BS of the past behind.
I was ther mistake made and all that.
I don’t think we’re poorly run now just poorly supported

I too think the Ladies Game is great....I think the shirt looks fab.
In other news the club is a basket case....has been since Blanchard was robbed off on us by HKR.

Sorry Ed3 but I disagree. The way that the club is run is pretty much as bad as it has ever been. There is now an elite clic on whom the management shine, the rest of us are an inconvenience that they have to put up with.
I would ask you, where are our missing fans? Covid has not taken them all. Many that I have known over the years no longer attend, Of those the ones that I have been in contact with say disillusionment with the club is the main reason that they now do other things.
For example. Wantawin, a supporter for decades, was to my mind driven away.
The simple truth is that if you run anything, you are always going to be subject to criticism. Running a sports club, the criticism is magnified. The way in which things are handled is very difficult, it is so easy ( as the broncos have ) to alienate fans. Blocking fans on social media for example. What an own goal that is.
Spurs can upset a few hundred fans. It does not matter to them, plenty are waiting to take their place. For the Broncos to lose fifty it is a different matter. Where are the people take their places ?
Take the way that club created its Official Supporters Group. What a slap in the face for the LBSA that was. Heavy handed is probably the nicest way of putting it. But an example of the clubs attitude to its fans.
Anyway, that is how I see it.

| I mean I can’t really speak of the people that have been blocked on social media I’ve no idea why they were our who they are.
If they don’t want to attend after being blocked on social media and feel slighted I do understand that.
I don’t know the man that runs the old LBSA I do following on Twitter.
It’s a shame they could’ve incorporated both into each other.
Fans I mean I can only speak for myself and my dad.
We’re season ticket holders live outside of London and most of the time outside of the UK.
So obviously we’ve not been able to attend any games.
Even though in most normal seasons I personally would’ve attended two or three games at this point.
We also don’t seem to have many fans that actually live in London or that near Ealing.
So with how long the pandemic has gone on for they may just be an off a lot of fans they don’t feel comfortable or can’t attend.
No I’m not saying we be having home attendances of 2000 if there was no pandemic.
Also back in the championship and still rebuilding the squad.
Look I don’t know.
We should always be trying to market ourselves and reach laps fans.
The marketing is very tough and expensive look at all the rest of rugby league.
There aren’t many clubs that market themselves very well and these are in the heartlands.
All I can really think of is at Warrington have a very fun Twitter.
I just see the long lease in Wimbledon yes with break clauses.
And it being 200 K. Which is no chump change for us.
But what we are desperate for and what I would say is our only real way to build a fans base back.
It’s finding a home finding a base and building slowly.
On the field this season is not perfect.
But we are producing on young lads that are talented at a far higher rate the most clubs certainly of our size.
Can incorporate the ladies and even though they may not make a penny.
Women’s game is going to be a larger part of the sport.
And it makes the Broncos a slightly stronger package whether its the rfl sky or dare I say more marketable.
Look people have strong views.
And when I think back to what the club was when it was at Barnett.
I just feel far more positive about the future.

It doesn't take much to reach out by email to all current and lapsed fans to explain the situation and try and sell them a ticket or 2. Even get the players to ring them as they have previously
On the second point, im just curious as to how you have reached a positive position regarding the future.

| I don’t think we’re poorly run now just poorly supported
This is the worst management I have known in 25 years. The club is poorly supported because ML has banned anyone from social media who dares to have a different view to him. People are getting fed up with being told their views are worthless and even telling people they are not welcome at the club.
If they are going to use social media great but use it properly, if you are going to set up a supporters group then get the website update instead of a year down the line you still have coming soon on the supporters page, has anything happened with the supporters club at all or is it in the same place. I dont see anything advertising it. How do people know they can pay £10 to join if its never advertised
We will never come back as it was made very clear in an indirect way we weren't wanted but will always be a bronco at heart and pay to watch the games as long as RL show them. we made many friends who we enjoyed meeting there

| Club should be doing all they can to engage fans, old and new.
If I had a company that was losing customers (fans) the way we have/are, I would be doing all I could to find out why.
