JESUS WEPT :WALL: HOW MANY TIMES????? £20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000. The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover. I'll take that against the 2nd best side in the comp.......Huddersfield losing to Wakey keeps them in sight, so at this stage it's Hudds, London and Leeds in the frame with maybe HKR getting dragged back down.
Leeds v Huddersfield and Wakey v Leeds is a massive weekend for Furner and Leeds in general......if we can get 2 points over that period and Leeds get none, I reckon "new structures" will be in the blueprint phase...

....too many clubs (ours included) see marketing like this as devaluing the product, but Banks (and Drug dealers) always entice customers with knock down offers at the start, so you have to say there is some merit in it!'"

Wire ran a discounted scheme for tonights game, where Kids got in on the cheap with adults accompanying them for a fiver.....this is good work by the wire marketing team as it ensured that on a Friday Night when London would maybe bring 50 or so fans, the HJ wasn't half empty.
