I hope our club makes them pay for the damage and I hope the RFL have the backbone to take this up reference the racial abuse which is disgusting and I dont want these type of people to come to our club. Also I hope the RFL take issue with the damage and penalise Wakefield accordingly for some of their fans behaviour.

I agree the behaviour, of a small number of so called fans was unacceptable, A number of Wakefield fans did try to intervene and tried to calm the situation,only for these yobs to threaten them. I can only wonder why the stewards didn’t take photos of the people causing damage,then the London club send the photos to the Wakefield club. I’m sure identifying these idiots would be easier this way.As a long time Wakefield fan I don’t want these idiots associated with Trinity.

It is always the Supporters from Small towns in that Area of Yorkshire, Seems there wasn't enough stewards, At other Grounds they wouldn't even dare doing it, It's typical of people in those sort of towns Don't travel very far Very often , And when they do they make total Bellends of them self.

Not all small town clubs in Yorkshire are badly behaved.

At Cas we take a fair few away and have sold over 400 tickets to come to London. I rarely see trouble and we police our own.

We regularly take 1500 to Catalans and not one problem but we will try and drink all your beer!

RD, it’s a bit of a generalisation from AR and as a bloke from my ne of those small towns a bit insulting but hey. Think we know it’s a bit of a club thing, go to certain clubs in the league and you know if you stand in the wrong place then the welcome is not going to be the best.
Hope your lot bring a decent crowd down even though it’s on sky! We need as many through the gate as we can. Hopefully your fans will not try to take the stand apart if we go against the odds and put some points on you.

I think there'll be a few more than the 400 sold by the club. We do like an away day. Win or lose, its always a good day.

I remember Wakefield used to come to London in fancy dress and have a great day out. Suspect it was a very small minority causing trouble but hopefully it gets dealt with.

IIRC, they came to Griffin Park in WWII regalia one year.....fantastic sight with 1,200 or so of them on the terrace at the end.
As much as I enjoy winding them up, Wakey fans have always seemed to me as some of the most genuine when they come down......the idiots who did the damage are not indicative of the Wakey fans I've encountered at games.

I rememember the day well and you always get a stupid drunken minority spoiling everything for the true sporting fans. Welcome Cas and have a great day with us but I cant go as far as wishing you a win - keeping that for us

Speaking of a drunken minority and fans dressing up......my 40th Birthday was the day Huddersfield came down in 2005 and it was a beach party theme......I spent the 2nd half in the ealing terrace annoying the yorkshire lot with my water pistol......lol...that was fun and we had over 3,200 in them days

That's an awful lot of water pistols!

On a more serious note, I hope there isn't a repeat of this type of behaviour, and the rest of the season is enjoyed without fear of abuse or violence.
