It wasn’t me that brought up the Leeds coaching predicament.
As I said already Leeds are willing to release Parcell, Golding, Ormonroyd and Walters. These are potential signings for you. Obviously you are not going to be in the running for an International Superstar like Martin Taupau.
I thought it was supposed to be Northern RL fans who are parochial, it seems you Broncos fans have caught the same bug. |

From what they say. There are a lot of clubs out there who are up to the salary cap and looking to unload players to free up cap space. It puts us, if we are wise, in a good position to sign some decent players..

I would say you've got a good squad player there. He never 'broke any pots' for us, but was always Mr Reliable. Although curiously, he scored his first try for us, in just over two seasons, towards the end of the season, then followed it up with two more, a fortnight later! |

£20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000.
The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.
There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them.
