| Guff coast fella good point well made whats the point of the broncos couldnt agree more
But then again you wouod have to ask the question whats the point of salford or hudds or saints or leeds just a bunch of northern blokes oropped up by a few aussies all relying on one bloke pumping money in
Infact whats the point of any sport best get rud if the lot eh?
Hone grown olayers is an interesting thought not sure cas would be able to field 8 cas born players how would hull and kr work? Wouid they have to prove which side of the river they came from

| Have seen how hendo deals with the players, its interesting that we have had a couple of guys commit to the club, and a couple go who obviously dont want to be part of what is now looking like a club not just abteam that plays in london, maybe think after his injury keyes realised he would have to work to get his spot back and maybe ut was just easier to go elsewhere

| Those players have come through there systems. Look at the most successful teams in the last 10 years. Those teams bring through there own players. Wigan Leeds and saints. Giants, wire and hull as well. Salford I agree with you they are terrible. The point I am making is why have london basically got no london players in the team. maybe why joe Keyes has left is the fact he looks around and it's all northern players and Aussies. Broncos played Bradford this year they had more london players than broncos. That is pretty bad. Lastly if you bring through your own players it is cheaper than getting players in. Along with being a well run business that gets crowds over 500 you are less in need of a money man pumping money in.

You seen the amount of London players developed players that are currently plying there trade in super league. Did Bradford have more London born players than London? So how many Bradford born players did they have
Not actually sure what point you are making

| Good luck to him.
There seems to have been a serious issue with the conduct of some senior pro's in the run up to the 'David Hughes wobble' which seems to have led some of our then youngsters astray and damaged several careers. Hopefully Joe wasn't one of them, if as alluded to by a prior poster he was, hopefully the penny has dropped in time as he's got a cracking opportunity here.
When blame for the implosion at London Broncos is discussed, I always think certain senior players at the time escape very lightly.

| The point I am making is maybe we should be keeping these players rather than getting rid of them. They all seem to thrive when they leave and go to other clubs. The question is why? Plus I mentioned the most successful clubs in the last 10 years bring through there players from academy football. Bradford Bulls aren't what you would say from the last 6 or 7 years been successful. There best academy players have been snapped up making other clubs stronger!

| I am sure Joe did not fit into Hendos plans. As such it was better for all concerned that he left. A 3 year deal at Bradford, not too bad. Works out well for one and all.
How he performs will be interesting. Sometimes you can be at a place too long. It is all up to him now. Best of luck Joe.

| Guff, yes we should be keeping these players but let's be honest even when we were in SL doing well our bodies through the turnstile, or past the table as it is now, we're not massive. So when a team comes along and says to LMS come to us we will pay you XXX we do not have the money to compete, same with k Dixon, trust me he is on a pretty penny. But you can say the same for every club in the league, the bigger clubs as well as bringing through some of there own cream of the crop from there own development squads they take the best from the smaller clubs, it happens in every sport.
Why do they do better? Because they are playing alongside other quality players, learning from them and have the benefit of better facilities at those clubs.
It's pro sport

| Agreed players will want to move to bigger clubs, but it's not like sargy to Wigan. Its Bradford! surely if we look after our own and treat them well, coach them, and pay those players a decent enough wage they will want to stay. And in the long run as they are the clubs own will want to stick by the club. Joe seamed to love Broncos and had I think he had supported them since he was young. The other thing how much has the club invested in him? As the club released him, I don't think the club gets a penny. He is only 20 and a england academy and international. Doesn't seem great business sense.

| I wish Joe the best, but the way it has all happened does not sit fully comfortable with me, then we do not know all the facts and more important Truth, it would be quite easy to make a super league side from players who have left us, what does it say about these Northern Clubs so stepped in history that they need to grab young players? How much have we made in fees I wonder???

| Maybe the way joe looks at it, working and playing up north what ever club it is will put him in the shop window better to step up to SL club! Maybe he just want to move to the cultural centre of Yorkshire!!!!? Why he was released is anyones guess on here, just hope he does well up there.
It does show that as a club London Broncos does produce home grown players and they do go on to be quality players.

| Regarding LMS. I understand that the club offered the same deal to Louie as St Helens. He made the decision to go. The club did all it could to keep him.
Word is this could be his last season at Saints. Where next for him?
