London have the same number of imports that we do.
Anyway, Dixon.
Won't be on big money , he will only be a squad player next season.
Worth the gamble.

Or on the flipside gutters you have more people playing rugby league in London than the whole of the north of England so why all the imports surely you find 25 players in 7 million people but that's not how it works is it and you know that

We have kids playing and winning. Given a pathway they could step up to top level, but that pathway now points to union. Dont forget to switch power companies

| Kids playing and winning against other kids doesn't mean said kids could cross the gulf to first team level.
We in the north have known this since Victorian times

| I still can't find any confirmation of this move on any internet site... perhaps we can have a link that confirms Dixon has gone to HKR?
I wouldn't be surprised if he had signed and is on his way out... just would like it confirmed before we all start going off on one about it.

| I saw a link that they were interested, in the Hull Daily Mail or some other northern paper.
But since that I've heard nothing and they've signed a winger from down under, if not 2 (I get Hull and KR mixed up).
Not saying it's not happening but I too don't see why he'd choose them

Hull KR have also signed an outstanding winger, Ken Sio, from Parramatta Eels, who was one of the leading try scorers in the NRL before he got injured.

| The 3-year-deal might come back to bit him on the backside if Rovers are one of the 4 clubs to go down to the Championship at the end of next season with us having a very good probability of moving back up to the Super League with our full-time squad.

| I think this is panic move , it seems hkr are the only team that have come in for him and hes panicked as hes desperate to play super league , hope it goes well for him but just think hes been a bit shorted sighted here. Also regarding the loyalty side of it i do feel a bit aggrieved as it seems we've spent a year getting him fit which I'm sure cost alot of money medical and time wise to get him ok and now hes off , just wondering if the rfl pays for any of the medical bill as it was with England he got injured rather than us ?

Wouldn't the club ( or any club) have an insurance policy to cover this sort of thing when a player gets injured on international duty?
Trouble with player loyalty is that it appears to be an outmoded concept - Dixon is an SL quality player so wants to play in SL, but I do understand why you feel hacked off by his departure. Most of the big clubs wouldn't touch him until he can prove his fitness long term, KR have taken a punt and if it works out they'll have a cracking player the next few seasons and he'll be able to get himself a move to a big club and maybe full international caps ( next World Cup in mind no doubt).
I hope he does well, not all of our lads have done well after leaving London - hoping he's more LMS than Mike Worrincey!
