Good luck to the lad. Presumably a few quid have headed Broncos way to release him now and he's off the wage bill. Suits both parties really. Clearly the club accept relegation us inevitable and have started looking to next season.

Hope the Doctor has paid is good, not if that is any compensation, did he really need Mason straight away? little disappointed with Mason or more his manager.

To get a fee at this stage is a real bonus. No matter how much. Most Clubs would have just let the season run out. In answer to whether he's needed right now?

We've struggled out wide this season, especially for pace. So can see the reasoning.

I finally had an email from the Broncos today which got through the spam filter. It told me that the squad was improving every week but was strangely silent on letting our best players go. Usual joined up thinking

Well Joe had said that Mason would go at the end of the season, at the after match press conference, but a cocky Doctor was saying last night, clubs have taken players off Salford, and very much he will now take whoever he wants, says Mason will make debut early July.

Think this is a case of reading into it what you want.

MK has been banging on for over a year of how he wanted to halt quality player exodus from Salford. Wanting us to be seen as a Club that players want to come to instead of leave after putting themselves in the shop window. Think he was just reinforcing this fact, rather than having a laugh at London's expense. The bit about taking whoever he wants is your embellishment and MK has never said anything of the sort.

I suppose it all depends on your personal view. It would really help if RL Fans would rely on facts rather than supposition, imagination, and wishful thinking with regards to anything MK.

They could at least loan use Junior Sau 'til the end of the season if they're going to take MCB immediately. On the positive side, I think a player pathway to a living wage is is critical to junior development, so hopefully the improving U19's will play for the Broncos next year if only in hope of progression.

MCB will have to live in Salford.............. how he must be looking forward to that

The shame of it all is that the club management screwed up any chance of us having a competitive side during the close season. The talent that is now emerging from the junior setup could have had a SL pathway with the Broncos if the management had made better decisions.
