| Quote: JEAN CAPDOUZE "The losing points differential has been reduced by 34 points as compared with the past two weeks. That is grounds for optimism when the club meets up with the weaker sides in Super League.'"
Which weaker sides? They are all better than us.

| Did I say anywhere I was happy?
as I said 40 points against us is not good.
What is wrong with trying to see if their are any positives to take from the result?
The negatives are their to see already

That was the only chance of a win gone when we drew another SL team in the cup.

| Count that as one of our pre-season games, slightly delayed. Getting to the SF last year did us no good at all.

| Negatives: Completely fell apart for a 10 minute spell after half-time sealed our fate. Only 4 Broncos fans.
Positives: Looked competitive for most of the match and the better team for the last 15. Junior teams on tour from St. Helens and Leeds formed a vocal 50 strong Broncos fan base. Karl Temata came along - no plans for future. Team angry about the 10 minutes.

Great to hear from a fan who was there who can give a true perspective. The fact that we were competitive for most of the match indicates our attitude and defensive work must have improved after that abject display against Cas. We also seem to be 'creating' try scoring opportunities which means something has changed in the coaching!? If they can start being competitive for 80 mts who knows.......

22268_1354053306.jpg Long live the Fulham-London Crusaders-Broncos Harley-Quids Broncos (again) RLFC!:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_22268.jpg |

| Theres two ways I can look at it.
a) Cats are fellow strugglers and we were easily dispatched!
or
b) Cats' are returning to the form that makes them credible top 6 contenders and we competed well, didn't go to pieces and even fought back!

| Broncos assistant coach Joe Grima was disappointed to see his side's cup challenge ended so soon, but was still able to take positives from the game.
"It's not often in rugby league that you will score 24 points and get beat, but that's probably where the London Broncos are at the moment," he said.
"There was a period in the second half where the Catalans scored three back-to-back tries, which really hurt us.
"That probably shows where the Catalan Dragons are too. They've played particularly well in the last four weeks and that was probably typified by us scoring 24 points, yet still not winning the game.
"At half-time the team were incredibly confident they could get a result, given where they were situated and the opportunities that had been given to them, particularly in the last eight minutes of the first half."
Despite giving away 40 points to their opponents, the manner in which Catalan's tries were scored was a source of some comfort for Grima.
He said: "The majority of the Catalan tries were scored on our edges or through broken play. Any coach will tell you right the way from under-eights up that it's better to concede tries out there than in the middle.
"We did that tonight. Over the coming weeks we now have to get our edges as solid as our middles."

You are probably right. But let's wait and see how the team goes against Wakefield, Bradford, Hull KR and Widnes. I am not predicting a win in any of these games, but it could happen.
London buying Jamal Fakir, even if overweight, would have improved the prospects by 50%. But that is water under the bridge now.

Catalans were crap. They had a squad meeting (which involved flying back from the UK when they had planned and booked to stay all week BTW) and a number of grievances were aired and a lot of straight talking happened. One of the outcomes was Fakir was told he'd be in the 2nd grade for the rest of the season.........Catalans have since started to turn around their season......they will finish in the play-offs at a canter.
Bradford are welcome to him.......he is a liability who would have been happy to hide behind our defeats and steal a salary.

Im sure we did. I don't think we had any other option if we are serious about avoiding relegation. We may have offered him more money than Bradford but he knows we will not be here in 2015 whereas Bradford probably will be.
