No, the steward I was sitting near was very hot on that sort of thing, and rightly so.

I'm hearing that the club shop\reception in the East Stand has been extended to hold Bronco mechandise. I will have a look on Saturday and report back on what is actually on sale.

It's something so simple it's untrue.

eTickets are the future. The last Iron Maiden gig I went to was similar as you had to produce the payment card for scanning. It's genius given the current cost of postage.

I know TK has plans and would like to make the membership card become a payment card within the Hive. Just showing the barcode from your smartphone makes things really easy at the turnstiles, I dont even bother to print the email anymore.

.........the likes of TicketBastard actually MAKE MORE MONEY from emailing than they do for posting....the future it may be, but it is not really that much cheaper than postage.
I paid $5.25 per e-ticket for the Warriors at the Westpac (it was the same for SMS)...postage was $8.25.

It's great if you can get a customer to register their card with you, together with either a standing order payment agreement or a credit card arrangement, by which the Hive can deduct payments monthly directly from you. The issue unfortunately, is if anyone wants to pre-pay (money laundering becomes an issue) or if you end up with bad debts which cost money to chase down. The trick is credit-checking and monitoring the money trail which is what has held back this kind of stuff for ages.....someone has to pay for is and until it becomes affordable for the "retailer" to swallow it, the consumer will continue to pay as they currently do.

The idea of attending a game and using a mobile phone to get in, pay for goods, programs, beer etc is brilliant......
