Dave, of course all here are behind the team but as we only seem have 19 players signed, of which 1 is injured for the next 2+ months and 3 others are't even in the country are you really surprised? I still can't see how we'll even be able to compete if just one player is injured in the pre-season games. In other words LB don't have enough players to make up a squad at the moment.

Asking is ST holders had been contacted was a genuine question to see if anybody had received any direct contact from the club. GUS said before xmas they were ramping up operations, TR has supposed to have said they are trying to keep the fans happy. One way would be to have direct contact with past ST holders, something which in the distant past LB have done with direct mailing. But hey all is rosy stick some posts in the ground and we will all roll up, forget we are paying more for the pleasure and have had no rational reason or explanation for the move.

Is it not good manners when you wrong someone to apologise for having done so? The club apart from any other failing have been wrong in not contacting season ticket holders for posting their details on the internet. I now know the reason my PPI / Accident / Insurance calls have trebled even though my home number is ex directory and I only give it out to selective people.
Daftdad I agree completely with you, the club are wrong in their dealing with fans and it is not as though they have so many they can afford to loose the few hard core fans they do have. Lets hope Barnet are aware of GUS and put a zip on his mouth and give him the same mushroom treatment he has given us as. Going by the post from yesterday they appear to be an organised club and maybe with their handling of LB we may well survive and flourish, however I cannot see that happening with the current Ceo.

Lister under normal circumstances I would not expect a sporting club to contact individual members regarding renewal of season tickets, however this is not a normal situation. Here we have a club who completely ignored their fans at the end of the season and during the closed seasn. They need to market the club to all fans and seek new fans and this can only be obtained by ensuring the fans know they have a new ground, the colours they are playing in, pricing and season ticket issues and of course the first home game information. If you want to build something worthwhile you start from the bottom up. You apologise for your wrongs and build from there.

Due to buying tickets from Quins, Wigan, Salford and Hudds I regularly get emails about season tickets, events and game info from all of them, yet I can't remember the last email I had from the club. I'm not asking to be courted by the club every five minutes but my experience is that other clubs are trying much more to get me to spend money with them.

That's the way it seemed yesterday. I was talking to the Barnet community officer who is also now the Broncos community officer. They are going to get the kids to play league. They are inviting southern based clubs to play minis before games (Southend Spartans for Salford game).

From what I heard from the Hive staff they have ideas and want it to work. They see developing the kids is the way to get future fans and increase revenue.
