Genuinely haven't seen this, where did you get it from? All I know is two year deal at hive and Gus and Blake solly were thanked by DH and now they were looking to recruit players.
Also saw a tweet from long saying lets get into this season but nothing official

| No ST for me while the current clowns are in still in place. This does not mean I will not attend, but I will be selective on games and a lot will rest on kick off times and clashes with London amateur league games.

Same here . Skolars take precedence now.

| Quote: gutterfax "Given that he is going to be CEO for the season at least and that it increasingly looks like David Hughes is our backer and TR out coach, what could be done to get you and the others to maybe come back on board?
Genuine question by the way. I believe that there are 1,000 or so core supporters including 600 ST holders and 400 regulars/"quite-oftens" and in this group there are maybe 150 fanatics, of which I would include you and the other usual suspects.
The 150 are key to this working in 2014.....if you accept that Gus is there for the year, what could be done to get you more actively involved with the club. PM me if you don't want to discuss this on an open forum, but I am keen to find out exactly what needs to be done to re-engage the fans with the club.
I don't mean club colours/badge etc....I mean what can the club do to get you back to the level of involvement from a few years back?'"
I think the whole support base is just getting fed up with everything, everyone has their own gripes, the performances, the management, the organisation and even each other and the team constantly losing doesn't encourage anyone to have a good time and if people aren't enjoying it they are going to drift.
Genuinely think results on the pitch would help morale for everyone, if that's not going to improve instantly then make the day enjoyable again, proper entertainment before after and during the gamemingling.
Non match day stuff could be the fans forum ( not a dig at club but it brings fans together on a non match day) a season launch like at st Katherine's dock a few years back. These things can allow fans time to connect with the club in other ways and feel part of it and not just like a number in the crowd with no input.
Playing games at times when other London league fixtures aren't on (amateur and champs1) would also be good, then invite them along, it can't hurt to do a couple of London league club days a year on a Friday night or a Sunday. There's a lot of keen league fans playing in London who know watching the broncos is a waste of time. Change that.
Themed match days like a ladies day, fancy dress day, wear your football shirt and get in for £1 day, Anzac Day could make for good days.
Sorry for turning it to a marketing post but sorting out supporters (new and old) experiences will improve things IMO

No need to say sorry. I just wanted to get a feel as to what the club need to do to get buy in from their hard core support.
Given the Dave, Tony and Gus bandwagon looks like rolling along for another 12 months, the question is what can they do?
Forums? Most definitely!
Players Mingling/Presentations open to all? Assuredly
Communications? Improvement required without a shadow of doubt!
Match-day experience with comps and bands? Spot on
Themed days? 100% ACCURATE. I have always said games should be marketed as "events"
Anything else they could do?

| Top ideas sogspurs. Matchday experiences and ideas you have mentioned will keep people coming regardless of the result. Theme days sounds a quality idea. And launches on the Jubilee line Stations would be great also.
Still baffled as to no employment of a press officer.Hopefully we are taking our time to get the best in. Really wouldn't mind a yank as marketing person as they really know how to make matches an experience eps in the NFL and NBA.

Surely what matters are DH's and AK's plans, not Gus's.

| As someone who favours Skolars, I should be happy that some people on here will be attending their games a bit more in 2014 but it is sad that some people on here, who've spent much of their hard earned and time supporting a failing club, have turned their back on the club.
That isn't a dig at those people who have turned their backs, I understand their reasons and I respect those that can walk away from a club that clearly means a lot to them.
However, shouldn't the staying of Hughes and Mackay push those of you who feel that strong to push on with the Supporters Trust and buy a stake within the club so that you, the fans, the people who really matter, can get your point across to the circus in charge?

| While the Warder has anything to do with things I can't see anything getting better.

| Whilst I'm generally pro Trusts I can only see it as a fall back in our case. In an ideal world one could work with the club but given we are barely tolerated as fans I can't see the powers that be giving / selling us a share of the club.
Whilst I expect to buy a season ticket, if we don't see some signs things may be different this year the extra travel time / cost may yet push me into the occasional attender category.

That's because we don't buy enough curry.
Maybe a curry club is the answer?

As others are saying or touching on, stop treating us like mugs, telling us we will get fans forums, telling us we will know more in two weeks, being very vague with everything, not updating the official website or twitter feed since last season ended. I'm not sure exactly what happened with the sponsorship do but didn't sound good. This has all happened and apparently no one will be accountable for it.
The current set up has had enough time to do this and frankly it's just getting worse, any signs they show of getting people who care or know what they are doing ends up with them getting pushed away.

Customer Relationship Management then?
Agree with all the points raised so far but would appreciate any more that come to mind. I would hope to convey a "wishlist" to the club by the end of the week....
