| The players and staff that are left haven't been paid according to the beeb. Whip round anyone? Obviously excludes the Warder.

| Quote: Big Graeme "Lets just put something straight right now, without Hughes the club would have gone bust years ago, he's made mistakes but he's made them while keeping us afloat.'"
It's not that he's made them, it's that he has ignored the warning signs and advice given to him.....the marked decline in off field issues coincides with the appointment of cricket administrators......Blanchard lasted a matter of months in East Hull after being shown the door by cricket and his replacement wasn't even properly selected and interviewed.
2009 and 2010 for Blanchard and 2011, 12 & 13 for Gus......5 seasons.
In 2008 we finished 9th with 40% of out games won and an average of 3,909 fans......in the next 5 seasons we have won 26% of our games and have seen out crowds drop by 45%.
We have selected the wrong coach, the wrong administrators, we have alienated the fans and spent more time changing our name and where we play than actually trying to fix stuff.
Yes, David Hughes is a well meaning benefactor, but he is still one of the main reasons we are in this situation......as are the RFL.
David Hughes backed our application for a 3 year licence....he has reneged on this backing and should hang his head along with those others who have ripped the heart from this club and trodden it into the ground!
I actually believe that amateur RL will continue to flourish in the London and South East region.....but as an option for a professional sport, it will be as dead as the Broncos will be.

| if we are debt free why bring in administrators surely lawyers could sort out the paperwork or is it the club has been run as a rich mans toy and a fantastic tax loss opporunity. Too many stupid mistakes by an intelligent man i.e. McKay and Powell makes me cynical about the whole thing

| There can't be too many creditors can there ? HMRC, Harlequins ??
This seems to be a tactic to (a) force some decisions and (b) write off some debt.
Personally I think it stinks. The club submitted a licence application for 3 years and I'm pretty sure what is happening now wasn't part of the submitted plan !!

1649_1338292262.jpg I have followed the LONDON CLUB since I was in my teensl even though born in St Helens and still live nearby and went to the first game at Fulham, also Big West Ham Supporter:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_1649.jpg |

| I don't think it stinks at all! no one denies the mistakes that have been made, but as I have stated before many Nothern clubs would love to have had an owner who invested so much for so long!
If the club feels that The RFL is showing little interest, far too busy sorting out Bradford and their investment in the ground, then this is the right type of action and why not this week when it will gain much publicity, if they leave it any later anyway it would be far too late to get it done for next season except with a scratch side.
One man at Red Hall loves to take all the plaudits when half of the time it is not him, like The World Cup with Sally Bolton at the helm and done a great job! lets see what he does now.

Black Backgrounds/Zoot.gif Freedom for supporters of the government, only for members of one party - however numerous they may be - is no freedom at all. freedom is always and exclusively for one who thinks differently.

| The points deduction for going into administration (and I'm wondering about that as well, given that we're supposed to be debt free) would mean almost certain relegation at the end of next season. I can't see anyone buying into the club with that in prospect.

| Its peanuts to run a SL club for potential owners, so I believe you will find owners from within Europes centre of finance
Its far easier to overcome a 4pt deduction with no debt and enthusiastic owners, than with debt and a badly run club
You know what's needed, where the best place to play is but to attract fans the club needs to be sexy and have identity
Don't give up, a brighter dawn may be just around the corner

| Going in to administraton is a way to force the issue, so it may be the only way to save the club, if david h has withdrawn his support then so be it, its not the first time we have been here, and we are not the only club to be in this position.
we are a small but hardy bunch who follow this club and are used to the "wait and see approach" so lets err wait and see.

| I hope that this is just a mechanism in place in which the club can legally rid itself of its obligations to HMRC and Harlequins Rugby Union club - as I couldn't care tuppence about either of them - rather than an attempt to evade payments to both existing and former players and staff.
I pray that we can restart the club.
My strong preference is that this is without the existing leadership team if at all possible and with David Hughes as only a sugar daddy if anything.
I believe the RFL will give a level of token help as they did with Crusaders so unless this is prearranged for Kleanthous to step in, I think we've seen the last game.
If that is the case, I am glad that I stood by the club for the whole of last season going to every UK away game and saw the last two wins at Hull KR and Bradford. At least that will be my eternal memory if it is the case.

Two months ago Wakefield were told by the RFL that should they enter administration then they would be automatically relegated and would have to start again in championship 1. We were lead to believe that this is now the automatic punishment for a club entering administration so there is no more wiping of the debts with just a 4 point deduction and carrying on as before. I would expect this to also be the Broncos fate.
