It's good to see the Giants at the top! and as I said on another thread, I was so unsure when they appointed Paul Anderson as coach, so well done.
What frustrates me is how the likes of Wigan, Warrington, Saints and Leeds seem to control, what goes on within Super League, they seem to be part of the hierarchy with those at the top of the RFL.

LB folding won't make any difference to the set-up in SL next year. A west yorkshire club are on stand-by if/when this happens.

Of course you stand by your comments, you make the same ones on a weekly basis. And I haven't said that he's doing a great job.

What Castleford will fold or demote themselves? Where do you get your cr£p from?

Would that be the same club that was rumoured to be on standby to take Bradford's SL place if they hadn't made the starting gate last season? Probably the only possiblity at the moment, if so.

Yes - the same club and they are in the process of going full time next season even if LB don't fold and the said club stay in NL1.

| I think this can go one of three ways:
1.The move to Barnet falls through.Broncos have no Plan B at all and they go out of business
2.The move to Barnet goes ahead, the team gets hammered every single game next season and gets relegated
3.The move to Barnet goes ahead, rather than lose 27 games next season the Broncos drop into the Championship and Featherstone leap into their place.
I dont think there are any other possibilities.Take yer pick from the great ones on offer!

So prey tell, is this a pit village that is a set of traffic lights between Cas and Wakey? Or a small town near Bradford?
Just what RL needs another couple of M62 slip road teams.
If this is the RFLs plan B then the game will be dead in 20 years, it is on its knees as it is without more narrow minded professional Northerners involved.

| Where would we be today if we had recruited Michael McGuire as coach rather than appointing Rob Powell.
Full SC etc It would be a different place.

Let's just say that it's got more than one set of traffic lights. As far as the game dying is concerned, the opposite could be the case - mass advertising on the lines of 'The Game by the North, for the North' might do the trick.

Or maybe something along the lines of the League of Gentleman's 'this is a local game for local people'!

The game's bigger than London, and the game will survive for another 100 years without us no problem. All this 'game dying out' business gets right up my nose.
