| Rea is a complete chump for waiting until we were 28 points down before unleashing Soward. Crazy decision. Salford will have come into this game very low in confidence and it's well known that though they have an effective attack, their defence is very brittle. We should have done everything we could to get on top early on. Soward should have been on from the start.
Rea out!

| Gower.... who's Gower His replacement today was wow, wow, wow. Forget the first 25 minutes when he wasn't on the pitch just watch the last 55. This bloke was superior to everyone else on the pitch today Just hopin' it continues as it seems he has a point to prove before he starts with Penrith next season. Shame about the result though.

I'll second all that.
Jamie Soward showed what class and leadership is...something that Rea totally lacks.

| Soward is a cross between Shaun Edwards (attitude) and Dennis Moran (play) with the looks of Sid Domic. The last few weeks of the season now have something to look forward to.

| Jamie Soward took to the field with effectively the game gone and his teammates demoralised and who would be strangers to him.
He spoke to each one throughout the game.Encouraged, assisted, shouted and pointed while playing a masterful game himself.
Best performance I have seen for years and it was professional in it's truest sense.
He was brilliant.
Good luck for the remainder of this year and beyond.
Enjoy watching a maestro at work.
They should be queuing for miles to see that side, once he gets to know his teammates

| I think it's obvious why Soward didn't start. But Rea shouldn't of waited as long as he did. I noticed during the interview Rea did with BBC London after the game that Rea had worked on trying not to concede so many tries in the first period to effectively put us out of the game before we were ever in it. Clearly that didn't work during the week.

| You could see Soward was looking up at the gantry and keen to get on earlier.

| Exactly, he was pestering Danny ward pitch side after 15 to get on.
He even looked he was barking instructions to relay on the pitch.

| First what does go on in the week? nothing seems to be learned at all but One Talented Player! can come on and virtually turn the game on it's head for a period. Why was Jamie Soward able in minutes to start working with the players, positioning them, encouraging them, all something that Rea seems totally unable to do! Well done Jamie just wish you stay was more than just a few months.
Did we get carried away far too quickly with the return of Rea at the end of last season, was he given the role without thinking seriously, no it's time for Rea to leave for the last time, he simply can't do it any longer. We accept we have a lot of raw young players, who need direction & encouragement simply something that Tony does not seem able to deliver.
Told that Jamie has many media interviews set up for the next week, if only we had the team, we may draw in some fans just to see him!

| What I struggle with is the fact we can't tackle one on one. Wheeldon, Sargison ...... are utterly useless.
Its like watching local park rugby.
TR should just have them tackling all day every day until they can do it. If they dont improve in this area we will continue to chase games. I've said it many times the tackling technique of our youngest is poor and its now flowing into the first team. For some reason we dont tackle with our shoulders, it's just arms
Defence is utterly pathetic

| The amusing fact is that Rea first left us to be a defensive coach
He should feel ashamed.

| Hopeless. Soward provided some inspiration when he came on but really, the damage had been done within the first twenty minutes.
People might say 'look at Rea has got to work with' but I'm not seeing any progression, any sort of response from him. The same mistakes being made in 2011 are happening now. He's just as hopeless because his coaching clearly isn't having any effect. We've got all these players who are apparently off at the end of the season, well if there's still a club around then, he absolutely must go too because he simply isn't up to the job.
