| If anyone needs singling out in this thread it's No25 Alex Hurst in this game.

You mean the full-back/left centre that Tony Rea decided he would experiment with on the right wing? Poor lad got exposed but he continued to run the ball back with energy.

Very harsh, at least he showed some committment in tackling Richards and getting over the touch line on the 2nd half. If you want to get stuck into anyone some of our ( supposedly ) senior players would be a better place to do it.

| Yes, that was his redeeming point, especially Richards face when he was bowled out . Amazed at how Wigan attacked that massive gap between him & Howell in the 1st half. Terrible but only slightly better in the 2nd. Worst I've seen him play though.

| There's a collective malaise, but it was interesting to see the Wigan backs pushing around the London forwards, let alone the Wigan pack. Also seeing Young Mr Williams, on his super league debut showing more ability and knowledge than some of the former NRL superstars who wear the London shirt

cartoons/WB24.gif Life is pretty simple: You do stuff. Most fails. Some works. You do more of what works.:cartoons/WB24.gif |

| Willow made a point about the fact Wigan players appeared more physically developed. if you compare our team on the day against Wigan it is quite apparent. Tomkins is quite a slight size in rugby terms. Wigan can accommodate that at full back as he is protected to a degree i.e. not constantly targeted in the defensive line. He does what he needs to when required defensively and isn't too bad a tackler. Same with Luke Dorn, but we have rather more players that do not appear to have the physical size of their opposite numbers, Dixon, Witt and to a lesser extent Howell. You could add Sarginson but he didn't play. Any one you could accommodate but collectively, as has been outlined previously, it does weaken us defensively.
Yesterday it was collective failure rather than individuals. Plus I don't think we have an effective game plan.

| Dorn has always been a poor tackler, but to single him out is grossly unfair. Half our team avoid contact, that's one of the reasons we leak points.
And unlike some of the other weak tacklers, at least Dorn can create stuff with the ball in hand. Bear in mind he created and scored our only try.
